I've known a few guys like this. During their college days they just churned through so many smart, pretty, hard-working, studious, ambitious women like they were nothing. They'd neg them, treat them like crap, ditch them on weekends with lame excuses. Dump them by blatantly cheating on them.

But college, like all things, came to an end, and then they weren't cool frat guys anymore, they were just entry-level small-town dicks whose beer and pizza habits packed on 40 lbs they couldn't shake off. ALL those smart, pretty, ambitious women went to real jobs in bigger cities, and the only women the guys could get with were the townie bar flies.

Those guys would literally get into a depression and cry tears into their beers over all the high quality women who "got away," like it was the womens' fault for not sticking around and putting up with all that bullshit. It was like, No, Andy. Remember, you ditched her EVERY WEEKEND to go party without her, and then you fingered her roommate. She left you because you suck as a human being.

Ugh, this hits HOME. I waited around for a guy for years, being plain as day with my expectations and desires. I was hurt as fuck and such a pickme at the time.

He played around with other girls constantly and when I finally moved on and found my now-husband, he begged me for a chance. Saying he was in love with me and saw us having children together.

These LVM think they're so smart and slick, playing games and thinking their partners are none the wiser, and don't seem to understand that their partners have been mentally getting ready to leave them for months.

And this is only after overtly tolerating all their bullshit for years, trying to internalize and justify and giving him a thousand chances and even more "communication" conversations. By the time the woman is ready to break up, she's already tired and fed up, and mentally getting ready for it.

They get salty about how "fast" she moved on? Scrotes, she has been ready to move on for a while, and she was giving you a last chance to give her some hope that you were actually worthy of staying. And as always, you fucked up.

This is the thing - men are told that they won’t age, their sexual value will only go up, they have plenty of time, and they just overestimate their value. Sexual market value of men doesn’t remain the same with the same age groups - it evens out between the genders as people get older, but 37 year olds with receding hairlines will never be hot to girls in their 20s. Men who are aware of this know to invest and hold on to the HVW early on and not fuck about.

My ex before my husband was a total douche. I started dating my now-husband 2 weeks after the break-up. I also took a social media vow of silence during that time and posted nothing about my relationship. Eventually, I was happier not being on SM, so I stopped posting altogether. 3 years later, about a week before my wedding, I get a text from a random number. It turned out to be my ex who wanted to "reconnect."
