Maybe that's why sex is so mystified from the mainstream in the first place? If everyone is just used to seeing sex for what it is, perhaps nobody would be mystified by it and thus the urge to have sex as urgently would just not be there, because sex would be a more lightly taken subject and the "shock value" would just not really be there anymore. When the shock value is gone, people start having sex for other reasons other than pure reproduction, bad for the economy, how else are you gonna have the babies to meet the economical demand, right?

This is really something that the commercialization of dating and relationships has taught me if anything, the more you make relationships be something that you're missing out on, the more people take it with less pressure (more or so)

Is been also cited that statistically people have been having less sex since the sexual revolution 🤔

America is hardly a prudish society anymore tbh, in fact the claim is so tired that when I went to LA back in 2018, people dressed with barely any intention to actually dress modestly, even the men lol. I even went around dingling my whip (not exposed of course) and nobody gave a flying fuck, like some even laughed at it if anything(forgive me I was a 16 year old raging hormones teenager still)

More prudish societies would be countries like Romania, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Chile, South Korea, Iran, Nepal, basically catholic roman or Muslim countries for the most part

So, what gives? Do more prudish societies have more satisfying (and healthier) sex lives and lower divorce/breakup rates? I would prefer someone who comes from these cultures to answer.
