Most people in today's day and age will do a lot for a shot at sex with someone they feel an intense and primal attraction to. Men do it all the time. Take tons of risks. Do stupid shit.

It's just that women, as the more selective sex, don't feel this kind of raw 'must fuck you now' hornyness for someone they have possible access to very often. But when they do, they often do stupid shit just like men.

I've seen pot-bellied 'alphas' chase targets for 1-2 years and get constantly rebuffed for meek, more attractive men.

At my absolute worst in my 20s, when I was sick and depressed and introverted, I still had an easier time than loud 'alpha' men who were less physically attractive than me.

I think people male and female alike break “rules” all the time and not just for “alphas.” Most of the time it’s more like a set of wishful preferences that probably will never all be met by the same person, we all settle and change our tastes to some degree. Like if a woman says “I want a 6ft+ man with dark hair and blue eyes, 6 pack, and a 6in+ dick and a 6 figure income,” she isn’t gonna go “nah he has brown eyes.” In fact, she’ll be lucky to get two of those things.

Never thought about it. I'm either attracted or not, and that has more to do with what comes out of his mouth after reaching the bar of 'not ugly in my eyes'. The vast majority of men are 'not ugly in my eyes'. Its rare to see a man I consciously think is ugly or handsome.

Yes it's complicated. I would say confidence is the number 1 aim that is universal and will help a guy (Well, if its a guy who doesn't get out of the house much, simply exiting house might be a better start) , don't overshoot into arrogance though.

All my partners I've met in a social environment. Group of friends go to club, meet friends of friends. Work. Other social settings etc. I don't think women are attracted to tinder pictures, they just choose the objectively best looking from a group of suitors and many wonder why that doesn't give tingles.

If you're attractive enough, all rules are merely suggestions. There's always the "I don't usually go for guys like you" and even girls who openly voice their unhappiness about you lacking some trait (I wish you were bigger/taller), yet at the end of the day they're in your bed with their legs open.

This has almost exclusively come from women I met online, seems like they get a certain set of expectations they expect from a guy and hope for me to change to meet those expectations.

The best way I can describe it is hoping for a Bugatti as your prize car then you end up with a Ferrari. Much different than what you initially wanted but still a very nice car, and much nicer than most other cars. It's a bigger difference if that Ferrari is much nicer than the previous best car you had.

Was talking to a girl that was "celibate" after leaving an LTR. She was talking to and dating numerous guys (including myself). For myself and my friends, there’s no “breaking rules” because none of us have such rigid physical standards that going for someone who doesn’t meet some arbitrary list of physical criteria “breaks” anything.

I’m mostly attracted to blonds, but my dating history is pretty evenly split between blonds and brunets. I didn’t “break” any rules because there weren’t any rules in the first place.

A women into you who "only dates 5 miles arround" will drive 2hrs to you 3 times a week and call in sick just to follow you on a road trip.

She will pay for dates and meals and fuck you on the first date she's with you (even if she has a "not before 3 month!!! rule" and a "i never pay" attitude.

She will do the laundry and room even if you never asked for it even if she tells "house work has to be split".

She will tell you to fuck her even blunt and open even if she is "such a shy one"

She will not care for any commitment she is in and lie like the devil to her spouse just to make it happen.

You have to experience it.

I don't have strict rules on the physical and I don't know any other women who do. If you find them attractive, you find them attractive. Like, I really like ginger guys but I've been attracted to plenty who aren't - I'd never have a rule of "gingers only", I like average/short guys but I don't think I'm making some great exception to go on a date with a tall guy etc etc.

If you're wondering how some people get lucky over and over again, it is because they've made it habitual and maximized on this skill of recognizing, ceasing opportunities and bending/breaking rules when necessary.

I think this alpha male thing is subjective.. what’s alpha to one woman is disgusting to another woman.. Alpha females for example don’t do well with alpha males.. they want beta because they want to be in control.. Alpha males prefer more submissive females. Plus we all don’t fit into that box. There are varying degrees of these traits and depending on the relationship dynamic, one relationship the male could take on an alpha role and another could be more beta dependent on the personality of the mate.

Women don't really have hard-fast rules completely some women have racial rules but they'll break them for a guy that they find attractive, some women have money rules but they break it for a guy they define interesting to talk, to some women have intelligence rules but they'll break it for a guy that they like as a person like he'll be stupid but you know harmless and well intentioned.

Each woman has the thing that she generally prefers and then they can also point to a man that doesn't generally fit that particular preference.

The basic general rule that you have to live by as a man is to be in shape is to have hobbies and interests that you are passionate about, but that you know how to talk to people with no one wants to be overwhelmed by anything in the immediate especially if it's something that's not particularly important and very nerdy or niche..

The second most important thing is to know the demographic of women that are the most interested in you if you prefer white women but black women are more interested in you maybe you should date black women if you prefer black women and white women are more interested in you maybe you should date white women independent on what you particularly might like you kind of have to go where you're the most desired not necessary we are the most desired person but the group that desires you the most and this also reflects outside of race or age like in the hobbies like I'm pseudo nerdy but I like sports but almost all of the women I have took an interest in me have been nerds so I don't even really look at girls that are particularly sporty anymore I mostly go for nerds.

Also I prefer black women but for whatever reason other ethnic groups of women such as white or Hispanic women have shown more interest in me so I don't really even bother with the black dating sites or trying to match what anyone specifically.

I don't filter people out by race you have to know which group is the most interested in you and you have to have personal self-interest and you have to keep your body in good shape and if you can make decent money which to me if you're an American decent is $80-150k once you're once you're 30 you're set.

If you're under 25 the money is not as important though it will help you not because people are gold diggers. It's just because if you're looking for a heterosexual relationship most women want some sort of security and that's always in the relationship even if the woman does not make that a particular statement that's just something that you always have under consideration.

I've yet to find a "Rule" that charm couldn't surpass. To be fair I do exist in the above 6 foot category and have since I was 13 years old. It's more irritating then most men think as a lot of women just walk up to you and tell you they like taller men.

If your missing your personal spark then you are most likely wasting your time talking to women, if there is zero passion in your eyes when you talk about your life, plans, hopes, or dreams then your more likely to put her to sleep.

There were two people in my high school that got the most attention romantically from women. Me who was 6'2 and my buddy who was 5'2. The common denominators we had between us was the fact that we both had status born out of a genuine respect from other men. And we talked to women in a very particular manner.

Money and other stuff may matter to girls that chase golden hoops, but at the end of the day I could beat all those other guys in that school by talking oddball nonsense to most women. If a women doesn't feel like you can teach her anything she will often leave you alone because you seem lost to her in life. Seek your purpose above all else.

You are the problem here. It's not because you're not "alpha" enough, and it's not because you don't meet some arbitrary requirements. It's because you think that there's some magic attraction checklist that if you check all the boxes, women will just come flocking. That's just not how it works.
