To understand the difference in sexual dynamics between a good LTR vs FWB/ONS I offer you the tale of the .50 cal rifle and the ICBM.

Picture both shooting straight up. The .50 cal 647 gr will hit a muzzle velocity of 3044 ft/s or 2082 mph. Initially it will hilariously outrun the ICBM as it's trying to take off. Sugar glider updates.

The other night I took a ridiculous amount of Benadryl to get high. Like 600mg, so a lot, but no big deal. First time ever trying it.

The problem is, I fell asleep for 30 minutes, and woke up, feeling "fine." I figured I wasted my high asleep so I took 600 MORE milligrams. And holy shit.

Texts that I sent were either spelled perfectly but made no logical sense in the conversation, or they were so typo'd I couldn't read them.

I live five minutes away from my job, and I've been working there forever, and kept having to make uturns because I kept going the wrong way. In hindsight though that doesn't add up because I still got to work on time, I don't know what the fuck actually happened.

There was a couple of replies in this post that went similar to “if it becomes a relationship it was no longer a one night stand”, which just comes off as kind pedantic or strange to me. As far as I know a one night stand just has to do with the expectations of the sexual encounter and not what happens in the end.

I find it pretty sad that legit long-lasting happy couples seem to be in the minority. It's almost like people are getting together out of shallow, self-serving reasons instead of actual compatibility and are then surprised later on when the relationship falls through.

Also, I feel I should say that anyone who is battling mental health issues like depression (lack of drive, low or no energy, apathy toward doing anything, constant negative thoughts or feelings or a complete lack of emotion (= everything is blah), thoughts of harming yourself or others) to seek out help from a professional and consider self-medicating with the appropriate diet and exercise regimen, and supplementing with vitamins, minerals and herbal remedies if necessary. Sometimes people fall into depression thinking that it's just a habit they need to break and it it's actually a little bit more complicated than that. I was suffering from a long stint of depression recently and I feel like I've somewhat managed to break out of it with eating better and supplementing with adaptogenic herbs. Sometimes the body stops producing or absorbing things that we need to be "healthy" and we have to try and fix that ourselves by changing things up and supplementation.

We owe it to ourselves to be at our best.
