This one’s moreso for the black pill men: I get the issue and paranoia about not being in the top 20%. Genetics and neurodivergence do set a hard cap on how attractive you can be. That being said, I don’t think pushing yourself towards the top 20% with self improvement (which, tbh, just comes down to getting lean, skincare, being social, and having a good grooming/haircare routine) is impossible. Nearly 80% of men in the US are overweight or obese, median income is $50k, most couldn’t be described as “good” at sex, and more and more young men are becoming permanently reclusive. Social media has brainwashed a lot of us as to what average actually entails. Yeah, there’s a richer, taller, more facially attractive dude than you out there who will be in the top 1%. That doesn’t mean no woman will find you attractive. Yeah, some women will not be attracted to you no matter what you do. Even ignoring the fact that you won’t be attracted to all of those women either, it’s better to focus on the ones that do like your looks. I promise that, unless you are abnormally short (below 5’8” is my guess, there’s just as many 5’7” men as there are women), neurodivergent to extreme levels, or genuinely facially deformed, you’ll get those chances.

During my recent travels I came across a new unisex washroom at the airport. Not one little room with toilet and sink in it for one person like the handicap or family ones, but one large washroom with half a dozen stalls with zero gaps around the doors and a large multi-faucet sink. While I didn't feel unsafe (everyone just went about their business regardless of who they were), it was still a little disconcerting to have men mixed in when they usually aren't. I'm sure I'd get used to it pretty quickly if I had to use one regularly, but that sole time it was a bit of an odd feeling.

I will say I don't think it's a good set up for someone with young kids though. I think people accompanied by children who need or could need assistance should probably stick to the regular segregated washrooms. Or maybe that's just my social conditioning. I don't know.

I gotta say, I think the “male loneliness epidemic” is largely bullshit in terms of how it’s framed.

I’d say a far more accurate description would be that it’s far more socially acceptable to have the will brow beating out of young boys early on and where they are now is a result of not being able to/not thinking it’s acceptable to/or being afraid to strive for things.

Looking at older media and even back to my early year/teens, there were many guys who were “loners” (not in the psychopath sense) who were completely immersed in their own hobbies, goals, etc and while they weren’t super happy not being successful with women, they got along.

Now was there more socially enforced monogamy and was it moreso agreed that “there’s someone for everyone” that people were cool with? Yes, but I do find it kinda wild that with tech today, the easiness getting places and the access to just about anything, that guys have the time to lament this.

As someone who just started a family, I know that I had all the time I had before (which I did for many years while also being a player) I’d have several irons in the fire.

Going to turn 25 in some time and I feel horrible about it. I feel insecure about my age. This dread of how much I've missed out on my life, how much I've missed out on social experiences, life experiences. I feel old. This is a feminine opinion I guess but Boxing and striking martial arts in general seem to be getting more popular, I don't really get it. Seems a little weird to enjoy watching violence and actual blood and KOs and stuff, just purely for its own sake. Football and Hockey can be violent, but they are also really interesting strategic games, boxing is just violence for its own sake. People I’m friends with sometimes flirt with me. I tend to avoid this by being a Reddit loner with no friends. So for example, my girlfriend wanted me to go Christmas shopping with her friend today. I kind of suggested against it, but she wanted me to pick out a gift without her there to keep it a surprise.

Her friend touches me at every chance on my arm, side, stomach, etc. She brushed against my butt as she passed by me while I was sitting at the cart waiting for her. Apparently she thinks I have broad shoulders. She commented about my butt to my girlfriend later on.

Which, ignoring the knee jerk reaction of my glaring sex addiction that tells me I like the attention, makes it 0 days since I have last been felt up without my consent. I’ve cheated before in a previous relationship due to similar scenarios, but am mostly loyal overall

And also it ends up in more of me “living with seeing her again later, because her crush on me will eventually subside, and she’ll still remember how she acted” with yet another person.
