I dont think most women have any idea of how exhausting it can be to be a man. Especially if they're introverted and content with being themselves. Working plus entertaining someone else by being funny and interesting still feels like work to people who are naturally just talkative or those whose personalities have been shaped by interacting with others.

Unless I actually found someone I felt comfortable with and could just talk to like they were a good friend, dating expectations for men are pretty damn high, while the expectations for women are comparatively low.

I've been on Reddit for about 9 years now and the website has gotten lamer year after year.

When I first joined it was more "nerd-bro" gray tribe (for those familiar with SSC) with much more of a focus on science and technology.

The main boogie man was r/ShitRedditSays who were the proto-SJW crew that basically everyone hated. It's so astounding to see Reddit transform over the years and become so normied out. All of the talking points on SRS and the Fempire are basically the norm now! God forbid if you say Transwomen are not literally 100% the same as Bio Women on a default sub.

Before TRP, r/seduction was the Big Bad Boogey Man of Reddit teaching young Men how to become murdering rapists. (They had some Good AMAs).

Violentacrez (Which I pronounced as "Violent-A-krez" for years, had no idea it was "Violent Acres") was the site wide super mod, and jailbait was a thing. Even at 17 years old I thought it was kinda weird so I don't mourn its loss.

Subredditdrama was literally more like r/drama than it is now.

Reddit just felt more like a freer funner place to be. Now AHS wants to ban god damn fucking everything and we need to have more lame ass rules in place because some people just can't handle the existence of subreddits which they don't have to look at.

The rise of SJW culture between 2013-2015 really changed the internet. I still remember when "the internet is serious business" was still a meme, because the internet was just for fun!

The election of Trump changed things. Now you had to pick a side, Blue Left wing, or Red Right Wing, when before you could have honest calm debates with people that just didn't agree.

PoliticalCompassMemes feels like the old reddit to me, and they're probably gonna get the axe too. I just really hate this bullshit "We need to censor the internet!!!!!!!" stupid ass shit. Like the Left Wing folks were the free speech absolutists at one point! Wtf happened??

Now the Right Wingers are fake pro free speech because if they had the power they'd do the same thing, but still. This has to all be some Corporate CIA psy-op to convince people that words on the internet are legitimately going to kill people and corporations should control what you hear and say, because they're the good guys now!

Dear PPD, I'm leaving you today. Today is the day that I am going to delete this Reddit account, I do every so often to maintain my privacy to avoid being doxxed.

But this time I am also going to quit PPD. I almost quit a few weeks about but then The Purge happened and that was a boatload of fun.

PPD is good for 1 thing: to get a pulse of the Zeitgeist, while the sample (Reddit) is not representative of the whole (IRL), it's a pretty good leading indicator of things to come. This decade is going to be a crucial decade for the situationships between the sexes, these are my predictions:

Blue Pill thinking is stll prevalent out there
Decrease in relationships/marriages (duh, I know)
Increase in FDS-like thinking, this is just the beginning. Just because the membership will increase, and that those ideas become a bit more mainstream, it doesn't mean that it's going to be successful as in achieving their goals: LOL, they wish! Sure some SIMPs will be so happy, but those are short-lived successes.
Increase in Sugar Dating/Sugar Lifestyle, that's a train that cannot be stopped: everybody wins (everybody who participates that is)
TRP basics (the good stuff, not the garbage noise that we see/hear today) as a philosophy will reincarnate under a different name/brand and will become more mainstream. The name will have no association with Pills, Red, or The Matrix.
MGTOW as a philosophy will also reincarnate under a different name/brand and will become more mainstream (separate from the new TRP)
we're going to see a lot more of hooking up, FWB, FB and similar arrangments, it's a necessity since relationships are going the way of the Dodo bird.

PPD has potential, could be a good place, but.. just like the dating world, everyone complains, and nobody does anything.

Before COVID 19 happened I was ~~doing the FWB/Casual dating~~hooking up on a regular basis with 4-5 (mainly 2-3) women friends. Then COVID 19 happened and I made a deal with 1 of them to be Quarantine Buddies (exclusive). Well it didn't work out since she was not careful with her CODIV 19 prevention, so I ended it (incidentally her father passed away of COVID and she got it so bad she had to be hospitalized, but not ICU/Intubated).

Then I was Quarantine Buddy with another one, but that too was not careful with her COVID 19 precautions, so... we parted ways.

All along here and there I would hook up with my ex-wife #2, who also moved to NYC. So, she's now my new quarantine buddy. We get along very well, she's just as careful about COVID 19 as I am; we have a long history together since we were married for >15 years.... it's weird and wild at the same time, it's new and familiar at the same time. Once this COVID19 is over is going to be hard to.... part ways, but till then, it's good for the both of us.

After a decade of that, you get "invited" to the same party houses, they tell you it's going to be a party but:

it's during daytime
no alcohol served
and you're asked to bring your toolbox and credit card.

You arrive to the party and you're told that you're there to clean up the mess of 10 years of partying, fixing up the place, paint interiors and exteriors, plaster some holes, clean the gutters, the roof needs attention too, and the lawn needs to be done over.

And, by the way, you're the real winner, because the partygoers didn't get to be where you are now, and this is going to be for the long term, and - by the way - you're buying the property for your new roommates, so the mortgage is on you and the utilities are overdue!

I wonder whether at least a part of guys who genuinely believe that women live on "easy mode", do it because a big chunk of their motivation is getting sex? They study, work, improve themselves just to get sex. And if they just could do it without all these activities, they would stop doing them. So they think that as a woman can get casual sex whenever she wants, she certainly must have it easier in all other spheres of her life too?

Not every guy's motivation is sex, but I've seen this idea a lot here.
