Short answer = Yes! Long answer = YES!! The more sexually partners a women has the harder it is for her to pair bond. The truth is that > 5 is associated with less than 20% odds of being happily married. The current culture promotes women to be whores, sluts and 'experience' life. This makes them easy to date and sleep with, but horrible for long term life partners, mothers or even good friends. Understand that men and women are fundamentally different. Depends on what you value. High body count can mean one of two things:

1) She likes casual hookups. This can mean while not in a relationship, which is fine, but could also mean serial cheating, which is not fine.

2) She goes from man to man like a monkey from branch to branch. This is not fine.

A few thoughts, in no particular order....

1) Herpes. The more partners, the more exposure. It's simple math. She can lie about having it. Or perhaps she doesn't know she has it. You can insist on a test before unprotected sex, but she can lie about that, too. Unless you actually follow her to the clinic and watch her pee into a tube or take blood or whatever (and THAT would be romantic!), you'll never really know.

2) The more partners, the more she's learned about sex from the kind of men who have sex with a high body count woman. Let me unpack that. Plenty of men out there have learned about sex from watching porn. And BAD porn, at that. Or they fantasize about a porn-star experience. But only certain kinds women are willing to be cum dumpsters for some guy's porn fantasy. After a while, those women, maybe through no fault of their own, have learned WHAT THEY THINK a man wants in bed from these men. The result? I was in bed once with a high body count woman. The question was asked: If your body count was displayed on your forehead, would it encourage you to have fewer partners? One slut immediately said yes. Another slut argued that it was unfair. Women don't include in their body count:

-one night stands

- oral sex

- FWB

-relationships lasting less than 3 months.

So basically they are only counting body count with guys they have been in LTRs with (3 months or more)

Any woman over 35 years old with a body count over 20, I definitely would not marry and would seriously consider if I should even sleep with her even one night stand or casually

Did she cheat on all her previous committed partners or does she just like sex and had fun while she was single? Cheating multiple times on multiple partners would be scary and something to question but just a high body count is IMO nothing to worry about and stupid to get hung up on.

Seems like a lot of guys on here are stuck on the concept that women can be tainted by having a high body count but that’s a ridiculous and outdated concept. Women, especially attractive ones, can get sex whenever they want from pretty much whomever they want. If she’s experienced and has had several, 50, or even 100 partners, shouldn’t you be proud that she chose you of all them to settle down with.

Depends what you want. If you just want sex and something casual then it’s probably not that important (as long as you wrap it up for STDs and pregnancy). If you’re after marriage and a family then YES it’s very important. Someone who has a large body count and a history of transactional relationships is usually not very good at monogamy and loyalty. Past behaviour is a great indicator of future actions.

I honestly feel like people who ask about body count are either extremely insecure because of their own lack of experiences (or failure to perform) or very misogynistic. Personally, I feel it’s immature on both ends. Either the person you are with is likable/worth enough to YOU or they aren’t. But basing it on past sexual experiences holds little merit.

Does it matter in concept? Sure. But should it be a dealbreaker to an otherwise ideal situation, definitely not. In the r/marriage sub, a question about body count appears atleast once every other week. It’s always the man that has a huge mental block over it that they seek divorce or cheat, in an otherwise great marriage. Especially if the man was a virgin and the wife had one or two previous partners.

To play the devil’s advocate, a girl with a high body count has experience. Specifically, she has experience with her own sexuality and knowing what it is she wants and who she wants. What matters the most is who she is now and who she intends to be with you in the future. Just because she has a promiscuous past doesn’t mean she will cheat on you.
