I've never understood this. My old neighbor used to get up at 5:30am everyday to make her husband his lunch for the day. This man was 30 years old. Among many of the comments i saw a lot of the follow (number 3 is the most disturbing) :

people insisting how "normal" it is for girlfriends and wives to pack lunches for their partner ("i'm a woman and i do this all the time!" or "my wife does this and i love her for it!)
people jumping to great lengths to assume the absolutely purest of intentions on behalf of the man
men commenting how, because the man was used to his fruit snacks every day and he came to expect them, that of course he would be angry and upset when he doesn't get them. Like.. do you realize.. what you're saying??? This is not about fruit snacks. go read Why Does He Do That?
