This stuff is not even remotely new. The entire culture is female dating strategy. The entire gender studies department is dedicated to picking over every tick and idiosyncrasy of male/female relationships, from an explicitly female POV, documented in stupefying detail since the neolithic.

I've heard of people saying women need their own "MGTOW" movement. IT'S CALLED FEMINISM: "Women need men like fish need bicycles". THAT'S LITERALLY WHAT FEMINISM IS ABOUT.

Are you that acclimated to your own institutions that you cannot recognize their male anologues??? MGTOW and TRP are internet phenomena. They have no real world equivalents. That's why men made them: BECAUSE THERE IS NO WHERE ELSE IN SOCIETY, ANYWHERE, TO EXPRESS THESE EXPERIENCES AND IDEAS OUTSIDE OF A STEREOTYPICAL, CHIVALROUS, CONSERVATIVE CRAPFEST.

TL;DR If you want to talk about female relationships, ask your gender studies dept or NOW for another billion dollars to throw at it. They will oblige you.

I think you're wrong in thinking manipulating and using men is the goal of the sub. It's more about extreme vetting.

It's great seeing a place where women can speak freely and although I don't agree with every strategy there, I believe it's much better than going to Red Pill Women and roleplaying 50s wife for your "captain".

You know ... there are plenty of guys who don't agree with the red pill's negativity or with incel's dehumanizing language around women. The fact that some female-centric sub does the same thing "because it's only fair!" isn't going to be a good argument for any guy who disagrees with those male-centric subs, either.

Here's the thing: whenever women want to play the "it's only fair for me to use those tactics, too!" logic, what they fail to realize is that it's mostly directed at men who aren't using those tactics. It's super-convenient for them to pretend that all men are the same, but they're not.

By analogy, see if you can find the flaw in this logic:
- Men have been killing women at higher numbers than women kill men.

FDS is mostly old school advice from what i read so far. I don't understand why some guys are surprised by reading the advice being given on FDS. It's basic Girl game.

Also, FDS being a response to TRP is laughable. The advice on FDS is old school which is ingrained in most societies. It's not a new concept.

I actually DO NOT disagree with you. I checked out femaledatingstrategy yesterday and read through a couple of posts. What i found interesting was that it is EXACTLY how I was raised to view and treat woman. Then something happened....I started actually meeting and going out with them. Turns out, most woman behave more like TRP says and less like FDS says, to my dismay. I had to swallow TRP and learn to be the guy I was raised to believe women didnt want to be with in order to achieve reasonable success with them and the more I apply it, the more attractive I seem to be to women. A major TRP rule is "fuck what she says, watch what she does" and in my experience, woman SAY FDS but DO TRP. I repeatedly listen to my gf and female friends talk FDS but never follow through (classic TRP). And for some reason, women cant understand why I already gave up on getting married. Seems to me that FDS is ideal while TRP is reality.....which is disappointing, cuz I really thought more of women....

I agree though on FDS. It’s a nice counter move to the red pill. It also means in a way the red pill has won. It’s tenets are almost accepted as a universal truth now.

Even from my very anti feminist perspective, if you sort from top posts of all time, they talk about not being the “other girl”, cheating is bad, respect yourself, etc. They don’t seem too overly feminist either. I’d rather my daughter browse a sub like that than one that tells her that all forms of traditional life is bad.

People say it's like TRP, but the goals and how they achieve them are different. TRP just wants sex, and is honest about it. You're encouraged to be honest with plates about not wanting anything serious. FDS is about getting a beta and lying to him about your FWB while making him pay for meals and wait for sex.

I think the core advice about valuing yourself and holding off on sex will help alpha widows approaching the wall snag a beta, but I think plenty of them will fuck up their lies or continue to overestimate their worth.

Both subs have it wrong.

TRP has ways of manipulating womens feelings to have sex, but it does preach self-improvement.

FDS has ways to manipulate guys into spending money on them, without any intention on giving the dude an actual chance. It does have some good advice for women when it comes to being careful who they date too.

Both sides have positive and negative traits. Even tho if you ask me both are a place for bad mannered dudes and chicks.

MGTOW and redpill can be absolutely awful and they deserve to be criticized, but in fairness, FDS is largely an even more exaggerated version of the “woman good man bad” rhetoric that initially inspired MGTOW and redpill and has only gotten more popular and acceptable in mainstream Western culture since then. MGTOW and redpill had it coming, but I get why FDS sometimes seems like beating a dead horse.

MGTOW, redpill, and FDS each respond to and draw from misogyny and misandry that were prevalent before their own creation. The cycle continues.

I'm MGTOW and, of course, disagree. MGTOW is not about manipulating anyone. It's about the self, goals, and most decidedly not about women, other than to never marry or live with them because of society and it's laws relating to the formal dissolution of a marriage or relationship where it has no business.

Any sub dedicated to the manipulation of other human beings, male or female, is trash. MGTOW is not about manipulation, it's about living life in accordance with certain philosophies in order to protect the individual from hyper punitive enforcement of laws, specifically family and divorce law, DV law, Workplace law, and Title IV law in universities.

None of these things have a basis in manipulation of other people, but rather the reality of how society will view you based on gender.
