The greatest issue of this sub is that the title is "question what you believe", yet nobody really comes here to do that, but instead doing the opposite of posting beliefs with no intent of listening to arguments and being open to change that belief. People want their beliefs affirmed because mostly, they are coping mechanisms because they are unhappy with their situation, and the belief they came up with puts the blame on someone else rather than themselves, letting them remain passive in their misery.

I just hate general statements altogether. They're usually incorrect and seem like loopholes for getting to call an entire sex horrible and calling all individual experiences "outliers. It really seems like if 100% of the men or women (or the reds and blues) on this sub said X, the opposite side would dismiss it as "well all of you are just liars or the 1%".

I'd like it if we could be more like how PPD was years ago, where we didn't have such broad generalizations in every single comment, and people talked more about what they as an individual experienced. It was more about learning and less about being "right".

The problem I seen is false dilemma fallacy.

A person makes a statement about a general problematic tendency of gender "A" into a discussion.

Then someone starts accusing that person of being bias toward gender "B" even though that person see problems with gender "B" as well.

That person didn't bring up problems with gender "B" because the context of the discussion didn't warrent the input.

Ironically, when I went looking for such an example, I found this where YOU dismiss someone's opinion as "projection" - basically doing exactly the thing you're claiming happens to you.

I'm sure I'll get downvoted to hell or have this post removed, but this is a major issue in this supposedly neutral sub and it needs to be addressed.

The thing that needs to be addressed is that blue pillers like you constantly make claims with no sources. Look how many examples I have of you people doing this:

I think one of the problems is that underpinning The Red Pill is a hatred of women. Men who are drawn in to it will already have deep psychological reasons to distrust and dislike women. A lot of men will read TRP stuff and just discount it straight away because they know it’s not reality and that women aren’t all awful people. I think there are a lot of teenage or early twenties guys here who don’t have real life experience of the dating world other than making an OLD profile and not getting matches. So when they are called out for their misogyny and their world view is challenged they attack. This is partly because TRP is what they use to protect their self-esteem. It’s easier to blame women’s standards than to accept their own misgivings.

I’ve been called an “extreme outlier” for having a sex drive. They are mostly indoctrinated by the Red Pill thing and have a lot of fakes beliefs. They really don’t like the false beliefs being proven inaccurate.

I joined this forum genuinely expecting to understand some of their argument but I’ve ended up despising Red Pill even more.

The message is good, but the only mistake you make is thinking women are uniquely attacked. Just because some incels are brave behind the keyboard and post more frequently doesn't mean women don't attack when questioned. Look at a board like 2XC, they'll probably complain about it elsewhere, and maybe you'll seldom get someone say something which attacks men, gets counterattacked then moans about being attacked.

Gender politics is generally a cesspool when you see the sort of vocal actors in it, many of which are probably active on the board.
