Recently, a post was recently created in this subreddit about women's dating standards. There were many interesting responses and a number of women who shared lists of their requirements that clearly were the result of careful consideration and reflection. Going into a relationship, it's important to know what you want.

I believe that everyone is free to set their standards as they see fit and to do so without judgement. I also believe that good relationships involve mutual satisfaction of wants and needs. So my question for the women who are very clear about what the want in a relationship is what they feel they have to offer in return and whether they believe what they offer in return would bring about in their partner a sense of satisfaction similar to that which they would feel when their standards are satisfied.

This is not meant to be provocative or to start some pointless flame-war. Rather, it's to better understand the thinking of those women who have high standards.
