I personally got the first two jabs, but now we get talking about 3rd, 4th, 5th shots too. Even the doctors and nurses at my clinic are tired of the shit.

To be honest, I wouldn't even check. It'd only really come into play if we wanted to go on holiday somewhere that cared. I probably wouldn't be compatible with most unvaccinated people though, as they're likely to be a conspiracy theorist or something. I don't want to date anyone who still cares very much about covid, either by limiting themselves to be covid-safe even when they're here in the UK or by rattling off conspiracies.

I would only date an unvaccinated person if they had a medical reason to be so. And since legitimate medical reasons not to vaccinate for this (since even weakened, fragile cancer patients were recommended to take it) means that this person is so vulnerable medically that they cannot leave their home we'd have to be a very good match otherwise. I would date someone like this if I were available but we'd have to be very compatible otherwise for me to spend all my time visiting in their home.

Outside of a very special exception like this I would not date someone unvaccinated. Because they would not be practical or intelligent enough to understand the threat of a pandemic or that the threat of LONG covid risks is much worse than the almost no risk the vaccine poses (almost 13 billion doses have been SUCCESSFULLY administered).

I wouldn't date someone who refused to get the vaccine for a non-legitimate medical reason for the same reason I wouldn't date someone who believed in fairies or who was a flat earther or who refused to shower.

Firstly we need to separate general vaccines from the covid shots. I know people like to lump them together to make it appear those who don't want the covid shots are against ALL vaccines which is ridiculous and very disingenuous. I am not anti-vax, I have many vaccinations that I either took as a child (ie: no choice) or as an adult because I assessed my own personal risk level and determined I would significantly benefit from doing so (eg: Hep B and Gardasil). That is the metric I use for all medical decisions - is my personal risk level high and would this course of action provide me with a significant benefit that would greatly outweigh the risks. I will never undergo a medical procedure just so I can eat in a restaurant, go to a movie or travel or if I don't believe it has been tested adequately with long term implications assessed (10 years +).

So with that context applied, I will not date anyone who had the covid shots. Not because of differing beliefs or anything like that but because I don't want any biological part of someone who has had them which I would be exposed to during intimacy (not going to debate this with strangers on the internet, I don't care if you think I'm nuts). This would also apply to someone who has not taken the covid shots but has slept with people who have. My dating pool was a puddle before covid (because standards), it is now a tear drop and I fully accept that. For me, it's on the same level as an STD (I know it's not an STD, I'm just saying that is the seriousness level I treat it as) and I would make it clear to anyone I did date that I do not consent to physical intimacy unless they have not had the shots and not been with anyone who has. But that is unlikely anyways since I have no intention of getting into another relationship so I'm not all that worried about it all.

My husband and I are both vaccinated and boosted. He's immunocompromised. So is my dad. I do a lot of caregiving for my dad so it's important to me not to pass on a disease to him that could kill him. I have never dated an antivaxxer that I know of.

People that are anti-health or anti-science would not be compatible with me. I expect my partners to get any vaccines recommended to them by their doctor, or to not do it if their doctor recommends that. (Some immunocompromised people or people with certain disorders aren’t supposed to get vaccines.) I wouldn’t want to date men who are gonna die of the flu (or Covid or any illness that a vaccine exists for) when they are old, or who spread HPV to all their partners, or who won’t vaccinate their own children and let them get measles or whooping cough and suffer long term damage, because they don’t believe in vaccines.

If you are not a high risk individual this is such a stupid dating requirement idk where to begin. Idc if your vaxxed or not vaxxed that has little baring on whether you would be a good partner/husband/wife/person in general. Personally I’d be more worried about y partner being a vegan. Anecdotal but I never got Covid once throughout the entire pandemic despite being exposed on a weekly basis turns out I’m highly resistant if not outright immune due to respiratory allergies and asthma.

I would prefer they have the first two shots. Especially as someone who works in healthcare, I get exposed to so much Covid that if they weren’t vaccinated they would probably get sick. There was just an outbreak at our facility, everyone survived but the quarantine and having to wear ppe was stressful. Yes they would most likely survive but getting sick and having to quarantine isn’t great either.

Given that I like older men, they’d need to be vaccinated. I got three shots and my husband got like, 4, and we got Covid anyway. It was pretty miserable and he could barely breathe. I can’t imagine how bad we would’ve felt if we hadn’t got vaccinated.

I live in a city with high vax rates and the last 2 women I dated were nurses. While even they aren't 100% happy with the vaccines. I was vaxxed but I'd weakened my immune system doing stupid shit enough to still get seriously sick recently anyway, and with the nearest hospital having 6 hour emergency room wait times I'm well aware that if it got any worse I'd probably have been SOL. Worse still my apartment building has a lot of seniors so I had to be super careful while in quarantine for everyone else's safety.

I'm not gonna make anyone get vaccinated and I'm not going to pretend the vaccines are flawless but theres a certain point where refusing to do anything at all basically boils down to "I won't mitigate any risks for myself and also don't care about other people" and thats not really a person I want a relationship with.

Yeah, no. I depends a lot on the reasoning as to why or why not they are vaccinated. If they tell me something like they think COVID is fake, or they're healthy and it won't kill them.. then, well, I've heard all I ned to to know I won't ever date that person. Because clearly they're either delusional, or they just don't care about other people or gosh don't even understand how vaccines really work or what some of their purposes are.

If its someone who physically can't be vaccinated because of say an immunity issue or allergies, I get it. I won't judge based on that.

Personally don't care if other people are vaccinated. But I think if the science is pretty clear and it's safer to be vaxxed then unvaxxed I'm pretty hesitant. Not because I give a shit what other people do with their bodies, but because I'm not willing to date someone who doesn't have the same values as me.

It's like abortion right? I don't care if other women get abortions. But my partner and I have to be on the same page on whether we will or not and in what circumstance

Given the published long term side effects of the COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccines, it is safe now to say that, it's 50-50. So, if you are vaccinated find another vaccinated person and if you are unvaccinated, find the unvaccinated ones; just to be on the safer side and avoid annoying meltdowns.

Yes, because I regret getting vaccinated three times. I don't think it was necessary for young, healthy men like me to get vaccinated. I don't really buy into the conspiracy theories either, so I don't think the vaccines are necessarily harmful (my health has not deteriorated or anything), but the evidence in favor of the vaccines to me is not satisfactory at all. And I think they have negative side effects in rare cases, especially for older folks. My mother personally knows three people that "died suddenly" last year, which were all 60+ and vaccinated. She doesn't know a single person that died because of Covid.
