Men on here complaining that "women will call the police for talking to them" are not neurotic, they're fairly accurate, the problem is they project this (true about themselves and their experience) fact out into wider society when it isn't true for 99.99999% of men.

It's a fairly common thing on here for a commentator to go "Men who talk to women will just have the police called on them! It's so bad for men out there! Western society has fallen because women are so evil!"

Then another well meaning and correct commenter will go "This is insane and neurotic, men are not being arrested for talking to women, just go talk to women, it will be fine, you will be OK."

I want to be clear that the second commenter in our scenario is correct, they are 100% right. Men are not being arrested for talking to women. Virtually nobody has ever had a woman scream "get away from me" because they said "Hi". Again restating for the record, the second commenter is correct.

The problem is I just said the word "virtually all men". So 99.999999% of men will not, pretty much no matter how they do the approach, end up with the police called on them. It's not going to happen.

But the people on this subreddit specifically, and other incel/manosphere/men whining spaces truly are the .0000001%.

If Chris Chan goes up and tries to make friends with people he will probably get the cops called on him and we know this is the case because often when he goes to cons the police are indeed called and he has a meltdown when security tries to take him out. He's just fucking weird, inhumanly and unfathomably weird.

It is uncomfortable to be in the same general space as him and it goes from uncomfortable to "Oh man am I in danger? Will this person try to hurt me?" when they focus on you to hit on.

The type of person who is on this subreddit and complainig about how women will call the police is 100% the type of person that makes people so unfathomably uncomfortable just by their mere existence that it's likely the police will indeed be called. They are truly the .000001% and, for obvious reasons, congregate in subreddits and websites like this one.

My suggestion to the well meaning people who say "you're not going to be arrested" is to simply open up the profiles of men who say "I'll have the cops called on me" and just...read their comments. Conceptualize who the person is who is typing the comment how truly exceptional they are and how fucked up their comments are. Think "who is the kind of person who could make this comment?" and your answer should be "The kind of person who would get the cops called on them for saying hi to a woman".
