Male vs Female Mating Strategy Is Really Younger vs Older Mating Strategy

Can we all agree that what Pillers have described as "female mating strategy" and "male mating strategy" is just what people do/prefer/desire when they are young vs when they start inching toward middle age?

Below 30 people prefer to mix and mingle and date as many people as they find attractive as they can. Those who can, do this and, those who can't, desire to do this.

As they slip out of their 20's people tend to get more "long term committed relationship" oriented.

This all has more to do with age than it does with gender. There's no sinister plot or conspiracy involved.
