His past includes a strategic fuckfest with a million women and he's very well known to be racist as well. I applaud him for taking such a huge step, but it often makes me wonder if this shit is enough to regard him as a HVM at all. Keep in mind, Meghan did have to leave her professional life due to his 'strict royal family' where he didn't bother to object her giving up her independency. It's complicated.

This whole "he gave up a whole kingdom and you're with a man who can't even do __" comes up a lot on social media. Its not like he had much of a choice. And the kingdom wasn't his to begin with so he can give it up.

People romanticize the royal family's life too much. They're all fucked up in their own way. Harry included.

Life isn't a disney movie. There's nothing romantic about the "giving up a whole kingdom" thing. And not a single one of them is a 100% pure angel main character who did absolutely nothing wrong and is not capable of doing any wrong.

I like to believe he grew up from his problematic past, but he left a life of being a second rate royal to living in LA, and making loads of money, and having total freedom. I would say with the way Megan was treated by the press, he did the bare minimum by leaving.

I'm also horrified as to how many people vilify Megan and don't even consider that Harry could have been the entire reason for the strained relationships with his family. Unlike so many celebs, Megan hasn't said or done anything remotely problematic, yet people just assume she's some abusive narcissist...why? Because she's kinda reserved in interviews? Because she wasn't happy as a royal? It's just strange the amount of hate this woman gets.

As many other posters have pointed out, Harry is LV AF. He wanted an out and he got one. Meghan gives off major narc vibes. I don’t like either of them. I especially find it disgusting that they are still rich and whining to Oprah about how hard their life is during a pandemic. A pandemic that has financially fucked over most people in the US. People are losing their jobs, their businesses, their homes, their families, and here come Harry and Meghan bitching on national TV. I just can’t.

I’m Team No One. I don’t like the royal family, I don’t like the tabloids or the paps, and I don’t like Harry or Meghan. It has nothing to do with racism. They are all classless, trashy, and out-of-touch. I’m sick of people shoving this crap in my face like it’s some kind of fairytale. It’s not a fairytale. It’s a trainwreck.

He benefited more from this relationship, if anything. I was always a fan of Meghan since I started Suits, and she had a good friendship with a Bollywood fav of mine, Priyanka Chopra. I couldn’t care less about Harry.

I’m glad he’s being supportive and all now, but so much damage is done. Meghan looks so broken since she married into that wretched family and the UK is vilifying her to no end. Let’s not forget another LVM Piers Morgan made it his life mission to ruin her name because she never contacted him after a dinner.

Her life was basically ruined in his name. I’m not sure how much of a fairytale that is. I know she’s happy but nothing can undo the agony this marriage put her through

I believe the opposite: in this case Meghan is the negatives toxic influence who isolated this hapless fool. He had a career in the military and they had their pick of causes within the royal family. Someone from the UK can surely clarify specifics but they had it good and by most accounts, they wanted the benefits (titles, security, mansions, estates, allowance) but none of the work of the royal family. In particular, they wanted to do commercial entertainment deals and any kind of commercial dealings is forbidden to members of the royal family.

there are tons of YouTube videos that breakdown the pattern of this relationship into one of textbook narcissistic abuse, I invite anyone to watch it.

Whether you end up agreeing or not, it will expand your mind to the tactics of abusers and more concretely how they triangúlate individuals and communities into doing their dirty bidding by painting themselves into victim hood.

This relationship is anything but high value to me, and Harry and Meghan I find the epitome of low value.

So on another & unrelated note, I would really caution ladies in here who don’t personally know Meghan from making some serious claims about her. Obvi this is the internet & my identity is unknown but I can tell you if you wish to believe that I run in upper echelon circles where MM & hubby are in also. You guys don’t know her, I do. She is fabulous, a sweetheart, and lovely. And for those of you saying why did she marry him if he’s racist/the family is racist okay sis seriously and honestly you just don’t understand how people (like us) with money and status operate. It’s not normal, everyday type of mannerisms...ok? We operate subtlety and racism does too. Any ladies from the upper echelon who can vouch for how ruthless this class is? How rampant with assholes it is? Racism is not overt, lovelies. It is sniper-like and yes, families can and will ensnare you with “we aren’t racist” fronts only to find out they are covertly and subtlety racist or at the very least, ignorant. This is how it works. There is an image to maintain, power and status to uphold, and legacy to continue. And all families are racist in their unique ways in this class. Trust me, believe me sis, I am in this circle these are my friends/partner. Nigerian oil money marries Nigerian oil money...that’s it. Chinese retailer heir marries Chinese tech heir...that’s it. Polish manufacturing heir marries Polish government heir...that’s it. And so on and so on.

Anyways, you all don’t know Meghan so just stop acting like you do. Nothing the media purports is true, all of it is a lie. Literally, you should try to consume as little as possible. This is how my class controls everyone (the former president was onto something...one thing he knew and was right about lmao). And how your emotions are controlled to. Like read your comments, how scary that you are emotionally invested into someone you don’t even know...that’s some wild manipulation. You should recognize that, step away from the media and really see how “we” control you.
