Yes you are SO right. What I love about FDS is how incredibly empowering it is compared to the other female subs. They are all like “my boyfriend gaslights me daily and I’m miserable, should I marry him?”, tons of victim-mentality, and “woe is me, a frail woman” posts. That content only made me sadder and feel more oppressed and powerless.

FDS, on the other hand, has done the opposite. It has given me the power to take accountability for my life, the power to feel TRULY happy and confident without a man, and realizing that it’s possible to be a feminine woman AND be powerful, independent, self-sufficient, and a bad ass. My attitude towards men is actually better because of FDS: the attitude here is that woman can be awesome, and that men can also be awesome, but it just takes time, patience, self love, and self discipline.

FDS has truly changed my life for the better, and women who adopt the mindset will see improvements in their mental health, happiness, confidence, and dating success. I was skeptical at first since it did not align with the typical Reddit feminism. But to me now, FDS is the only feminism that actually empowers women, without blaming anyone, other than “hey guys, I’m happy on my own, so if you want to date me, I need these things.”

That's exactly how I found FDS, too. Some incels/PUAs were whining about it, reddit put that on the front page, and the points that the cry/manbabies made, immediately made me intrigued and attracted to this wonderful place. If LVMs are scared and hateful of something, it's usually amazing. And it is! In an endless sea of trash and casual misogyny everywhere, finally some golden content that protects and benefits women, eventually raising standards and badassery of humanity as a whole. That's what we like to see. No more chances for the weak minded, pornsick, hateful, low quality and effort ugly ball-scratchers that only poison our lives and the gene pool. If they hate women so much, they can go happily fuck each other, nothing of value will be lost if they finally piss off and GTOW. They keep saying that for years, but it never happens.

This is a good subreddit. I will be the first to say I do not agree with everything said here. And that's okay as well, doesn't take away from this sub being great for it's intended audience. One thing being that one user who blamed rape victims for being raped because they were too plain and nice. I see that user here, and believe she should be banned after posting the B.S here. However, I do believe some women can learn a great deal from this sub. People don't like others (specifically) to have their own ideas, ways of life, and morals that benefit their gender solely. Men have long had it, I see no issue with women having it.

Nobody is nasty evil here (but that one user). I think it is hard for some to see women stand up for what they want in all forms. I respect this sub for doing that. It's a female focused subreddit, made to help women in a specific way. If it isn't your cup of tea I do not understand the hate; just say it doesn't align with your ideals and move on.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve been called crazy this summer for my reaction to being manipulated, abused and assaulted by a fwb (I reported the assault to the police, and told my close family, friends and his new girlfriend).

This is some kind of manipulation tactic. Don't know the name but I've seen it used on YouTube comments many times. Someone will post a controversial video and then here comes another person who completely lies about about the contents. This tactic will work on anyone who is lazy and believes everything they're told rather than do the research for themselves. The same is being done with FDS. Lvm know whats up here. The intentionally misrepresent us in order to maintain control. But on the other hand every time they cry about us a pickme joins us and eventually becomes a Queen. They're just scrwing themselves. Same ! Saw this sub mentioned on Twitter and wanted to see what it's about. And I think this is the sub that made me create a Reddit account all together because until now I had an impression that it was a 4chan kind of social media... Also not alot of french subs here..

I came here because someone said FDS women were crazy, so I thought I'd be seeing posts by female versions of incels which I could marvel at the craziness of. Obviously this didn't happen, came here, felt respected, stayed. Since coming my self esteem has gone up, I can stand up for myself better. I'm getting better at saying no and setting boundaries (although as a people pleaser it's still a tough habit to break). And blocking and deleting lvm is second nature. I'm glad I came here looking for entertainment 😊

Absolutely! I've seen guys here and on YouTube complain about this subreddit too many times, and yet after lurking for about ~2hrs, I've yet to see anything legitimately bad about this place. If anything, this sub promotes reasonable expectations and encourages women to stand up for what they really want in relationships. It's blunt, it avoids the trappings of libfem without falling back on religion, and it's for women, by women. There are soooo few places like this on the internet for women. It's no wonder we're almost at 100k.

Kinda sad that men can't just let women have their own space. Compared to a lot of male dating advice content I've seen, this place is very high quality. If guys don't want women that follow FDS, they have plenty of alternatives. No one forces them. I don't get why they're so triggered about this.
