Middle ground here. 👋

I personally have no dog in this fight so I can provide a more clear and balanced perspective on this issue. I think most people are dishonest when it comes to this topic because they have an agenda and an ego to protect.

A lot of people like to talk about a WOMAN'S inability to bond with her future partner when she has a higher body count. You never hear them talk about the men with this issue but we'll get to that another time.

The truth is, these people are actually concerned about WHO she has slept with, not how many people she has slept with.

They dont want to be COMPARED to a woman's past partners (specifically the more sexually invigorating men she has been with.) They would not care this much if all her past partners were less attractive than them.

Deep down they know these women will probably end up SETTLING for them so they don't want to be compared to her more exciting partners. These people understand that humans in general have a harder time appreciating what they have once they've experienced better. This is completely understandable! No one wants to be unappreciated by the people they desire and I do not think they should be shamed for that.

But they must understand that even if a person has only had one previous partner, you may still be compared to that one person. That's why high body count doesn't matter!

I might even go as far as arguing that even virgins will compare you to other people but that's another discussion.

EDIT: My focus is on the pair-bonding argument. Not any logical reasons why people reject those who are promiscuous.
