Whilst I agree with AF/BB, it’s also due to the fact that women require more than visual stimulation to be turned on.

You could show them a pic of a hot guy and they’ll be like meh. They need to know what he sounds like, how he carries himself, is he popular, do other women want him, how does he smell, can he take the lead, is he making lots of money, is he powerful, is he protective, is he funny and socially calibrated etc.

That’s why they go crazy for certain actors who aren’t even that good-looking. Take Ryan Gosling for example, he’s not even that attractive on a pure looks scale, it’s the fact he is who he is that turns girls on.

This is also the reason why fewer women use dating apps. Because looking at a guys pics isn’t enough to turn them on.

Only finding high value men attractive does not make one asexual. One can be a foodie but only like food at Michelin starred restaurants. One can be a music connoisseur but only like good classical music. One doesn’t have to like fast food or some teenage garage band to be considered somebody who is into these hobbies.

Either you're asexual or you're not. It's silly to say that half the population is close enough to something to be "practically" it - you could equally say that men are practically hypersexual. The standard is not men. It's also important to note that the amount of attraction you experience is separate from the amount of people you experience that attraction towards.

It's not that women find most guys "repulsive."

We're just neutral about them. There's probably tons of people you walk past everyday without much thought because they just blend into the background.

Unless they DO something to be noticed, you won't notice them.

Women's attraction is generally a dimmer, men's attraction is a light-switch. Women's libido is responsive and more dependent on how you're making her feel.

I mean, it depends on the women you're interacting with. Sometimes take a lot to get aroused and some you can call them a mean name and they're there. Sort of agree but not really.

The sad truth IMO is that women do have a sex drive but they're just as shallow as guys are. Women want hot looking men to sleep with. See those men on the magazines at the checkout line? Those are the men women are sexually attracted to. The reality is 99.99% of men will never be able to achieve that level of physical look.

For the rest of men, the reality is women view you as simply what you can provide for her. That's it. If you have something she wants, she will offer sex/intimacy as a reward to you for giving her those things.

Once she has what she wants. No need to offer sex to you. She will offer sex to one of those .01% guys if she can find one. The reason it is like this is because one male is not sexually attractive while the other is naturally sexually attractive.

Men do the exact same thing to women (optimize for hottest looking).

What did I just read. Sex for me is highly satisfying and I need it. In the same way I need food. I will otherwise develop random crushes. I actually feel its 10x more intense for women. So we will stick by the wrong person for way too long. And that makes other men feel like we are rejecting them When in actual fact...most men don't make us orgasm. Following your train of logic, what most men find lamentable in women, is that their attraction needs sooooo much external variables to align just right, they can't self generate desire. Almost all man can with just sight. You see a beautiful and attractive woman, you know you want to have sex with her, without her having said or done a single thing. Nope. Not true. It doesnt take that much at all its just not widely understood because society has ignored female sexuality for so long. Most women get sexually aroused and need to masturbate regularly just like men. Just because it isnt as visually dependent* and driven as male it doesnt mean it isn't there.

*** i have a theory that if all men became doll-like beautiful and submissive tomorrow, women would adjust accordingly and become the more sexually aggressive.
