What enrages women about ncount is that it reverses their usual position of being the arbiters of social norms. Women love to yield the "ick", "creepy" and other Kevin Samuels SIGN language™ to lord over men to direct men's behavior.

They like to be in that position, distributing good and bad points, wagging fingers and telling men what they should or shouldn't do.

But the ncount completely reverses that: it's a purely male inner psychological aspect about women's behavior. Women who have been lecturing others how "feelings" should be respected are suddenly trapped by their own rhetoric.

So well, the usual female double standard is once again used to exit this conundrum.

But no matter what women say, perception about ncount is something they cannot do anything about. And women are upset because for once, they are no longer the arbiters of social value.

Women tried to embrace it, but ask a woman her ncount and she will lie or not answer.

Because women know, that despite what they claim, they know that men do care about it and there's nothing women can do to change the importance of ncount for men. And that's what pisses them off the most.

Women saying "n-count of women doesn't matter for relationships" should realize that they are speaking about the internal state of men and should consider recognizing they might need to stay in their lane a bit and maybe care about how men feel a bit more. Just like they want for an issue they might have.

Also, whether n-count matters needs context,

Is it:

in general, like how good of a person they might be as a friend, co-worker, dog sitter
for casual sex
for dating with no marriage
for marriage
or something else I'm missing

Also, is it a deal breaker or just something that will annoy you?

Given a choice, almost all mentally normal men would prefer their wife to have a typical or somewhat modest sexual past rather than her having being obviously promiscuous. You can argue against this all you want, but it is simply a brute fact that some women don't like and that some men disagree with. But it is the majority position, and there are good reasons for it. Yell at the wind and nature all you want, but it won't care.

I take sex and my romantic relationships pretty seriously. I don't sleep with a woman unless we're in a relationship and have developed real feelings towards one another. I've had plenty of offers, but I've only been with two women and kissed three, all three of those were in relationships. And I'm near 30 years old now. Honestly, without the emotion and romantic aspect, I just don't have the WANT for sex without love in me. That being said, in a relationship, it's every day. Sometimes, multiple times a day. I love making the person I love feel good. There were times I'd be "giving" sexually without looking to "get" for myself.

I met a girl a little while ago. I started to really like her. We talked all the time, and I could feel myself starting to fall, and obviously, she felt the same way.

Then I found out that she had been in multiple threesomes, had sex with at least 30 people that I'd known about, and very likely more than that. A few friends even let me know they'd slept with her because they could see we were getting close and wanted to be open about it.

I instantly lost any desire to be with her romantically. We could be friends, but the thought of having sex with her became something I had no desire to do.

For me, given that I take sex to seriously and want to reserve it for people I have a special connection with, the thought of just giving it out so freely, as though it's nothing, is very off putting. It means a lot to me, I'd like it to mean a lot to the person I'm having it with also.

But outside of relationships, I don't much care what other people do. If you want to sleep with 10,000 people, go for it. We can still be friends, but that will make you a total non option for me. Which is fine. You shouldn't make decide what who you sleep with based on whether I would be in a relationship with you or not anyway. The same goes for any decision in your life.

It doesn't make you a BAD person, but it does make you someone I wouldn't want to be in love with, and that's okay. You shouldn't live in such a way as to please me.

If you're a person that sleeps with everything with a pulse and wants a partner that has less than 3 people, though, you're insane and I have to roll my eyes at that. It's hypocritical and ridiculous.
