The point remains that you ultimately chose men who are exceptionally satisfying to women during sex. They are not the majority of men.

The more men a woman has sex with, the more of those men she will encounter. The more of those men that she encounters, the more likely she will be to enter a relationship with one.

Once she finds someone with the right intangibles and builds a connection with him, and eventually has the most satisfying sex of her life with him, most other men will not be able to fulfill your sexual desires that way…so even though women who haven’t had causal sex or a particularly high number of sex partners exist, a woman’s number of sex partners absolutely contributes to the probability of any given prospective future partner being capable of providing her with the best sex of her life.

Most people settle to some degree, and given how expensive and lonely life can be, sexual satisfaction isn’t always the number one priority. It’s my belief that this is a major contributing factor to divorce ending about half of all marriages.

This isn’t to say that most women settle for men who are disappointing in bed, it’s just that most of the time, women know they can find more satisfying sex with other men, should they decide to invest in those connections.

I describe this as an ability because to outcompete other women for desirable men is an ability.

Most people are reluctant to admit, even to a survey, that lack of sexual satisfaction was a primary contributing factor to their divorce, particularly when other factors were involved and are easier to admit.

It would be nearly impossible to prove that most women are settling to some degree when it comes to sexual satisfaction with their partner. It can only be deduced; married people tend to have less sex than when they were dating, they usually get divorced, and many of those who don’t cheat. We just disagree about this.

If a woman has only ever had sex that’s a 7/10 for her (just a helpful shorthand for the sake of discussion), then she will be more likely to be content with a husband who gives her 7/10 satisfaction than if she had even occasionally experienced a 10/10.

Yes, if you’re great at sex, even a virgin will understand that it’s probably about as good as sex can feel.

However, my assertion is more nuanced than you’re presuming it to be.

If a woman has only ever had sex that’s a 7/10 for her (just a helpful shorthand for the sake of discussion), then she will be more likely to be content with a husband who gives her 7/10 satisfaction than if she had even occasionally experienced a 10/10.

So 7/10 isn’t bad, it’s good, but not great. After a decade or two of dating around, plenty of women settle for men who provide around 70% of the sexual satisfaction the best sex they’ve ever had provided them.

This is because it’s incredibly rare for a woman to find someone who fits ALL of her relationship requirements AND is the most sexually satisfying partner she’s experienced.

Some women can handle the 70% forever, others inevitably seek it out with men other than her partner.

I already made a comment but to address this specifically:

If a woman has only ever had sex she suspects is 7/10, and thus suspects there exists 10/10 sex she hasn't ever had yet and fantasizes about it, that is approximately equally as harmful as reminiscing about past 10/10 sex.

And women do have the capability of assessing their own preferences and sexual tastes to make an approximate estimation about whether they're having 10/10 sex or not, you can't count on the virgin "not knowing any better", if anything, not knowing better can also make her suspect that there might exist better out there. She can suspect you're 10/10 and there's no better as likely as she can suspect you're a 4/10 and there exist really high heights out there she hasn't discovered due to lack of experience.

And this is shit that does come up on Reddit. A common trope on r/openmarriageregret and similar open relationship trainwreck stories, is inexperienced women that married early with one of the first guys they dated and then get to their midlife crisis and ask for an open relationship.

You can even bring stats into this - couples who marry early (and thus with less dating experience) are likelier to divorce than couples who marry closer to their 30s. This "alpha widow" effect doesn't seem to make any dent into the stats any more than the "FOMO effect".

I don't think there's any cheat codes to get around your sexual inadequacy. If you're anything less than a 10/10, it's going to be equally suboptimal either way. I don't think going for inexperienced women isn't gonna help on this front.

What you’ll typically hear is something about the emotional connection and learning each other’s bodies, but that doesn’t preclude women from knowing they’ve had better.

It’s supposed to be this relatable moment for the female audience who have most likely had experiences with men other than their husbands that were notably superior in some way.

i skipped over all this drama by dating a religious guy who likes mentally ill alt women (like me) and hates cheating as much as i do. his long distance gf in high school cheated on him with some guy at a party and got pregnant and had that guys baby. broken hearted, betrayed, lost faith in others. i understand that pain.

your life partner needs to hate the same things you do, preferably from personal experience.

i never got cheated on directly but my piece of shit ex cheated on his next gf with his other ex after me. he asked his next gf to be his gf on the day her dad died from a heroin overdose, and he stayed with her after she cheated on him two months into their relationship. then the next gf (the one i mentioned) he dated after his last one, dumped him for cheating, was the very same girl who dumped him. his newer gf forgave him for cheating even though it happened less than 48 hrs after they went official. but finally dumped him after all the hideous insults he threw at her. Disgusting words

Then after that, he attempted suicide and ended up in a mental hospital bc he tried to overdose and slit his wrist the long ways. the scars were so horrifying. i know because he showed me.

my ex finally committed suicide for good after he r4ped me. i said "i don't want to have sex right now" but he did it anyways. he looked scared only after i started sobbing. ill never forget the look in his eyes

my other piece of shit boyfriend accused me of lying for the 40th time, after dumping me over and over again and then (him, not me) asking to get back together. he told my r4pist i called it r4pe. truly terrifying, excruciating

the guy who r4ped offered to pay me off to not call the cops. felt immoral. eventually told the cops but just couldn't trust them, they let me down before during another SA incident. justice system isn't equipped for this. It just isn't. but he knew he did something wrong other wise why offer to pay me to say nothing

i decided to ignore him, until i got the news. one of his friends from high school who didn't know all that other stuff messaged me on Facebook asking if he was still alive.

then i discover the truth; he *is* dead. he committed suicide. it was so ugly. i don't think he deserved to die just because he transgressed against me. found out he messaged all our old mutual friends shortly before his death. begging for forgiveness but no one wanted to listen after he burned every bridge. everyone hated him for a long time

the most painful part was his poor mom contacting me. there are no words for that kind of pain. his mom didn't intend for her child to cause so much, she just wanted him to be normal just like me and his other ex.

does it feel bad to be singled out by someone who cared so much more about anyone but me? anyone else who was not me? but other than his mom he said i was the person who made him the most angry. probably why he victimized me tbh. it's all out of hate and nothing else. unadulterated hate of a repulsive cheating whore

ever since i realized just how bad cheaters were. they don't deserve friendship or tolerance.

they are evil people with no moral compass. they don't deserve friendship or anything.

all cheaters are dead to me, forever. unforgivable. they're all shit and don't deserve anything. I won't be friends or acquaintances with them, not ever. go and die alone

i will always hate cheaters. they destroy everything with their shit touch, like king midas but with shit instead of gold

wealth is something that the more you have, the better, i guess. and you can always get more wealth with time (even if it's unrealistic for most people to get wealthy) and it's something that can be improved upon.

i guess the n count thing works the opposite way. too many past partners and you're no longer viable as a dating option. and it can't ever go lower, it can only get higher. so it can't be improved.

a lot of guys have said they don't like the idea of being compared to past partners. it's also considered judgmental, but liking wealthy guys is also judgmental.

You could make a biological/instinctual argument for why that's the case for both genders. For men maybe it's uncertainty around whether a kid is his with a promiscuous woman. For a woman, maybe it's concern that a promiscuous man is an unreliable partner who will prioritize hunting/providing for one of this many other families over her and her children. Without food and protection, a woman and her children would have been left very vulnerable.

By ability to find men attractive quicker I mean they don't need to spend as much time with a man to start finding him attractive. Some women will never have a hookup with a guy on the same night that they met because that is simply too little time for them to find a man attractive. The evidence showing a stronger correlation in women is fairly limited. People generally point to one study with sample of 56 women and 60 men with an average age of 19. A sample size that small has a very large margin of error.

Age is the bigger factor here. This study is primarily focuses on teenage relationships. Many people in the study likely had an n count of 0, and if you have an n count of 0 you've essentially had no opportunity to cheat.

It's not to say the finding is invalid, but it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. It does provide evidence that the correlation is stronger among women based on a small sample of undergrads. It doesn't provide much insight into whether the correlation is stronger among married adult women vs. men.

For what it's worth, the study also found that women with lower waist to hip ratios are more likely to cheat. So if you want a good relationship, look for a pear shaped woman.

We all have to live with the outcomes of our choices, not just the intentions behind them. If two people apply for the same job, and one has a spotless record while the other has “grown from past mistakes,” the employer doesn’t owe them both the same trust.

That’s a nice romanticization of failure, but let’s not pretend that people who don’t make certain mistakes are just cowardly underachievers. Some people don’t need to burn down a house to learn fire is dangerous. They observe, they think ahead, they act with restraint, and that’s not fear, that’s wisdom.

This idea that you have to screw up to be “authentic” or “experienced” is just ego-soothing for people who messed up and want to feel superior to those who didn’t. Making mistakes doesn’t automatically make you deeper or better, it just makes you someone who made a mistake. When your identity is built around “learning through failure,” it must be uncomfortable to realize some folks just didn’t need the remedial course.

Growth is admirable. But let’s not pretend the person who avoided the cliff is somehow less evolved than the one who dove off and crawled back with a lecture.
