Yes, I know the original meaning and I am sure there are occasions where it is genuine.

The sexism is that men cannot possibly just be rubbish at things. In the country I am in, it is generally accepted women are terrible at loading dishwashers but I doubt this is hardwired. I have never hread it called weaponised incompetence we generally just accept women can be rubbish at something.

We see women suspecting weaponised in competence but men seem more happy to accept they their GFs are rubbish at things. There is old fashionsed sexism at work.

I am not excusing the extremes obviously. People can cook and clean to a certain extent but the term is often thrown when men are merely not as good at things.
