If you had to pick a side, would you be on the "I'd rather have guy friends, girls are too much drama" side, or the "I'd rather have girl friends, guys are too much of whatever guys are too much of" side?

In the real world, I'm pretty sure most people don't say "X gender good, Y gender bad" and deny themselves interaction with a particular sex. But here on Purple Pea Debate I think we can at least explore the concept. Because while I'm sure we all consider ourselves rational and open minded adults, we here are wont to ask questions like "Hey ladies/fellas, what's the deal with blank?"

So, are girls dramatic, and boys preferable to that drama? Did you get along more with guys than girls? Because I would then wonder, what about guys' supposed fascination with tryna fuck their female friends? To that you might say "Not all men are like that. The ones that aren't like that are preferable to girls and their drama." Or you might say "Maybe all men are like that, but I'd rather put up with my guy friends having a crush on me, and maybe even acting on those crushes, than put up with the high maintenance and political subterfuge of other girls."

OR you might say "You're right. This and maybe other reasons are why I never really got along with boys." Or you might even say "Girls aren't dramatic, boys are dramatic." There's a number of stances you might take. Where do you stand personally?
