I don't believe that humans understand the full developmental process that happens in the womb. It simply isn't just growing, the fetus takes on the mother's immune system and receives stimulation from the environment of the mother. There are chemical and neurological exchanges that can't be replicated in an artificial womb.

People grown in artificial wombs may have severe problems due to humans considering all the details.

Also people grown in artificial wombs would still be people. The people aren't artificial simply because they were grown in artificial wombs. I don't understand why you believe that they wouldn't have any human rights or personal autonomy.

Meh. while I do think the artificial wombs will greatly effect the values and expectations of relationships, I think the “pleasure” aspects will be given to androids/ s3x dolls. Why spend all that time and money on a person when you could get an ageless OBJECT that could fill that role even better, allowing for customization. It avoids the ethical dilemma completely. It creates its own dilemma of people choosing artificial and marketed relationships over real connects but that’s a whole other discussion.
