As a guy that grew up as a farmer then became an accountant, dating is sooo much easier in farm towns vs college cities.

Why? Women settle and settle down sooner. Many have kids right after highschool and then want a guy that has a job. Everyone dates everyone cuz the dating pool is 3inches deep.

In the cities, college girls have so many more options for dating men, plus often seek sugar daddies to pay tuition, plus their standards increase as they become more educated. They don't need a guy with a job as they don't have kids yet.

I get looks from girls in my farm town that would never look my way in the city. Sadly accountant jobs are few and far in farm towns, I have to live in a city for career growth as I take my masters.

And farm towns tend to be more conservative, and cities tend to be more liberal. So conservative men do better, not for politics, but supply and demand in their locations.

You haven't defined what you mean by success, so very difficult to say. In theory, conservative men shouldn't be into casual hookups, bur clearly that's not true. I have heard that more mascukine men are more likely to be conservative thoigh so that would suggest rhey have more success. Not because rhey are conservative, but the other way round.

I'm a conservative man who lives in a liberal area & I struggle immensely with dating. I've never been in a relationship, in fact I've never so much as kissed, danced, or held hands with romantic intent with a woman. I'd probably have much more experience with women if I were a liberal, or lived in a conservative area.

I think you are taking the wrong approach to this question. Ultimately it isn't so much the political stance of the men but stance of women. Naturally I would like to believe that women who are conservative would date conservative men, and visa-versa. Like a liberal woman would be less likely to date a man who is pro-life. So in my opinion the most important data would be the ratio of conservative or liberal men and women in the population. The more liberal women in the population the higher the probability a liberal man would be succesfull in dating.

I don't really think there's much of a correlation beyond that. Of course, people on both sides of the political spectrum are going to come up with self-serving arguments to explain why men on their side are more attractive.

If I had to parse it further, I'd say centrist men > center right > center left > far left > far right.

If I had to guess any group of men being more successful than other men at dating heterosexual women I would say moderates people who might have some conservative perspectives but they don't have Confederate flags on the back of their car and who might also hold some liberal opinions but they don't have a rainbow flag on the back of that car.

I'd wager conservative men do better in conservative areas than liberal men do in liberal areas. I think the men's dating experiences hinge upon the local women's dating preferences, and I'd guess that conservative women have less selective dating preferences. At least in the sense that they may be less comfortable being single forever, and thus more likely to settle.

I would assume that conservatives had it better back in the fifties because without a job, women weren't going to touch you. But now, since things aren't based off the same things they used to be, I feel like liberal men are more cut out for this current dating scene.

It's hard to say. Divorce rates are higher in conservative states in the US for example, but people are also more likely to marry younger in conservative states and marrying young (late teens/early twenties) is the number one indicator of divorce.

Conservative apps struggle to attract women, but also more conservatives are likely to have a goal of marriage for a relationships and a larger percentage of non-conservatives may be okay committing to a long-term relationship for many decades but don't necessarily want to get married.

Depends on where they live and their social circle.

If you're in a more rural area for example or a more Conservative social circle where everyone is encouraged to settle down and marry young you might get relationships faster.

Whether those are happier relationships or not, I'm not too sure.

In poorer areas I assume it doesn't matter regardless as people tend to be more likely to have sex and unprotected sex. Which is how we get those men with 5 babies from 3 different women and vice versa

In more liberal areas or social circles, left leaning men have an advantage. I remember reading an article where men who were trump staffers had to either hide their political affiliations in Washington dc and stuff because girls just refused to date them otherwise.

My social circle is almost all co prised of liberal, left leaning moderates, or progressives. And all the girls date and married people of the same.

With hookups though or casual sex that's all dependent on how hot you are and how charismatic you are. Politics don't need to apply.

This is a hard question to answer since people tend to get more conservative as they get older, especially after marriage, kids and owning property.

A guy could start off as left-of-centre and become right-of-centre as he starts to pay taxes/has kids to look after.

I'd assume in a younger dating market progressive views' will have more success since most young women are progressives. That being said, I think women of all political persuasions tend to like 'conservative behaviour' e.g. good with money, self-sufficient, physically fit, responsible, ambitious, and possibly a little arrogant/self-interested/sexist (up to a point), even if they want their men's politics to be 'orthodox progressive'.

I can't say for sure, I can only go off anecdotal experiences. I game a lot so I'm around a lot of males. Most conservatives that I met are married while liberal males are usually just in relationships, no marriage. But it's about 50/50 ime.

I will say that conservative males seem more miserable in their relationships. Most of the ones I've met seem to really hate their wives and the only thing they really liked was that she was hot. While the liberal males seem to have more fun and actually like their partner.

I've also noticed that younger males (25 and under) that are liberal. The more "soft" they are the more relationships they get in. Women even pay for their dates and food.

I don't know a lot of Lefty guys. One of them is gay and the other one was a tranny. My nephew, who is a gym rat and quite good looking, says that when he dates a girl from the local university he is interviewed by her friends to make sure he is not a Trump supporter. Personally, I think that if he was an investment banker instead of a guy who delivers restaurant supplies, they would not care.

I have traveled a good deal and almost never see attractive women in small towns. The really attractive ones leave early for the city in hope of finding a man with money.

It's complex.

On the one hand, conservatives are more likely to be religious and more likely to prioritize getting married or be pressured by their community to marry, so they may spend more time and urgency on it.

On the other hand, conservative dating apps have trouble attracting women, most women (in the US) won't date someone on the opposite of the political spectrum from them and most women are left of center.

If you are exclusively looking for old white women then as a conservative you'll have a large pool, but even old conservative white women only usually date within a few years of their age.

I haven't been on a date for 26 years, being happily married for that time. We have a close friend who had been single for 6 or more years and was looking for another guy. She moved to Denver 2.5 years ago and in late 2021 met a guy she's been dating ever since. She came back to visit her daughter and we got together again. She made an interesting comment about her new guy. She said, "He's easy to talk to, like you." That was a big surprise for me, even tho I feel like I can discuss most topics pretty easily with most men and women I meet. So that may be the magic key. Having simple conversations with women that also requires listening to them too.
