I keep seeing these videos talking about how career women are undesirable and how men crave "power and money" while women crave "love and family" . It's the most pathetic statement ive heard. Im a girl who personally craves the first three, which is why I already have my own business at 16 and plan to invest in the stock market. It seems the ideal women for these people is a wife that cooks, and stays home while frolicking the fields (or something like that- you get the point).

I personally disagree that women are the most happy as stay at home wives. Being a tradwife is romanticized and is not cushy in real life if there is only one source of income, and if that income is not enough. For example, I come from a poor immigrant family with a mom that is a traditional wife. She spends all day in the kitchen, doing labour - it's a miserable life and she's developed a few health problems. She never had a chance to get an education back home. As a teenager, this type of life seems absolutely miserable and lonely. My mother constantly lectures me on how her life was a mistake and that her biggest regret was not getting a degree or skill. Both my parents push me to excel in my studies so that I can get a well paying job to break generational curses and hopefully retire. Or am I supposed to just find a rich man who does that all for me? (The chances of that are none to zero).

I saw this Fresh n' Fit podcast talk about how women should not pursue careers because its undesirable, but what other choice do women have if their families are poor? Who is going to be bringing the money? Or should I squash all my hopes, passions, and skills because it's "undesirable" to men? I do not crave family. In fact, the idea of having children makes me scoff (respectively). I do not crave love or relationships. I grind everday, and if being a "career woman" is undesirable, then I must be repulsive. Some people just... don't understand.
