im not every single man, nor am i redpill, but an ideal relationship for me wouldn't have me in full power. it would be roughly equal in income, chores, and everything else

I don't think so. They want empathy but i am having a hard time to understand and see how they want women to show empathy.

I'm new here so i don't know much about what's going on but as a woman who has never dated someone, I understand the frustration. And i accept it and move on with my life. I tried to find answers and i found them.

Instead of keep kicking "a dead horse", i accept it and move on.

I can't expect a person who don't know anything about me, unless i tell them, to show a bit of compassion. But if they do, then what?

"You're ugly and i know that is hard to be so ugly".

Everybody knows what's going on, looks matters. Being pretty, handsome, attractive matters.

It helps to talk about it but expect much more than that is dumb, in my opinion.

Everything they say implies they are superior, know better, know things other men don’t know, know what women “really want”, lie about their lifestyles because their lifestyles sell their “product”. And they insult men who disagree with them or live differently. That all implies a belief (or act) that they are superior.

Imagine someone said “ I’ve never run a successful business because it’s the customers who are wrong”. Would you take business advice from them? You would be stupid if you did. But those men say “I’ve never had a successful marriage or relationship because the women are wrong”. Yet, men follow their advice. Which is exactly what they want. Who would Rollo be without men simping (your words redpillers. I’m just using it like you do) over him. Throwing money at him. Telling him he’s awesome. That’s why they don’t want men simping over women. They want men simping over them.

I'm of the opinion most of the "issues" redpillers discuss here are really just redirected outrage to make it seem like their real gripe isn't just that they aren't attractive to the women they want. They think they can hide behind "Well you can't read my mind so you don't know!"

Like I'm supposed to believe if we did away with the draft, circumcision, and alimony they will be satisfied? Then they talk about society collapse from population decrease like it's not I barely concealed push for government issued girlfriends.

They really just all seem to think they're a lot smarter than they really are and it makes it very hard to take them seriously.

I think the typical men you are referring to don't want to have power over women at its core. My personal view is alot of them just want to feel empowered.

It just so happens that the current flavour is women, and they have more than ever before so are am obvious focal point as they are on the up and these men are on the way down from a percieved social pedastal that for them never actually happened.

Previously it would have been other races or creeds (Jews or successful immigrants for example), the rich, the politically observed etc.

Every society had the downtrodden and the disenfranchised throughout multiple decades and centuries. The difference now is the Internet. A communication tool more powerful than pretty much the majority of what we have developed beyond the written and spoken language.

The wider world gets alot more exposed to these types of subgroups and their opinions are far more reaching than ever before unfortunately. Reddit is definately one such place when you read alot of the subs.

No, they have a variety of things that they want when they complain. What you listed is just one option. Plenty just want pity, not pity sex.

Some do actually want empathy, either because they’re just trying to not deal with whatever it is alone, or because they refuse to go to someone paid to deal with their issues and expect other people to deal with them for free.

My husband has empathy- but if he’s too lazy to pull his head out of his ass I remind him I exist by expressing a stronger emotion in reaction to his apathy.

Rinse and repeat. He has stopped trying to negotiate with my emotions - they think he’s stupid when he does that.

Imagine if the response to women clamoring for rights 100 years ago was 'Women don't need our empathy they want power'.

Women had legitimate grievances. Men listened and cooperated with the women leading that charge for a more balanced world.

Now men have grievances, and they aren't the made up ones about not having sex that you are talking about. Maybe, shutting up, putting aside your priviledge and listening would be a good place to start? Men were able to do that 100 years ago, why can't you?

Lord, help these people. Empathy is good for everyone. Here's how it can help women; realizing the average dude isn't living the life of Chad will help her understand why he isn't "doing whatever he wants whenever he wants" like women seem to think all men do, and why it *may* behoove her to take some initiative once in a while, or, heaven forbid, learn to communicate what she wants and how she feels. Also, and this is a big one, many women are in positions of authority over children. Having women who are capable of empathy will help prevent them from viewing male children in their charge as monsters in waiting, or autistic by nature, or whatever.

Being more able to empathise with someone does increase the chance of emotional connection which is a pretty big factor in sex - it has nothing to do with pity. Just because you can't imagine finding a man attractive if he admits his problems to you doesn't mean that every woman secretly agrees with you
