I see a lot of guys saying they shouldn't have to perform like a clown to get women

In this post guys try to explain what they mean. ...i think this comment made the best attempt

Women are like employers, and men like potential employees at a job interview. Yes I realise this is a cynical, robotic view, but that is exactly how it seems to me. The average man is competing with at minimum dozens of men for the average woman. When you factor in online dating, this number can easily be in the hundreds or thousands. It feels like everything you say and everything you do is under intense scrunity by women.

Why? Because you are, the average woman can easily afford to next any guy at any moment that isnt up to their standards, for the most trivial of reasons.

To me, dating feels like performing a carefully choreographed dance, and as a man youre supposed to feel privileged to even have the chance to perform. Add that to the amount of rejections and time wasters, it gets unbearable at times. Ive been with a decent amount of women, but ive also put in a ton of effort for it. Half the time the amount of effort required isnt worth it in the end.

I feel like a slave, having devote so much time and energy to impress women, when they have to do far less comparatively. I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel though, but currently I am not content with crumbs from the master's plate.

Performing a carefully choreographed dance?

Dating is a dance between man and woman. Men lead the dance.

You approach and you set the tone of the conversation. If you bring a fun flirtatious vibe, then either she flirts backs or doesn't. If you bring boring interview type questions, then one word answes means she's not interested.

Of course if she's not dancing then it would make sense for you to stop dancing as well.

You shouldn't stand there dancing while she's obviously not going to join you.

Here's a comment from a guy explain how hard getting a date is for most men.

Asking random women sucks because you don't know if they are just happy and doing their job of if they are happy to be interacting with you. So it goes like this. 1. Hi, my name's bla bla bla would you like to go on a date...... I have a boyfriend. 2. I have a boyfriend 3 I have a boyfriend

He then goes on to list how many times that man would be rejected.

And he should be rejected ....because he's skipping a step.

You don't just introduce yourself then ask them out to a date a second later. You make some conversation , try to flirt a bit to see if she interested, then you shoot your shot if she flirts back.

If she's not flirting back, you can end the conversation without getting rejected. Flirting is how you maintain plausible deniability.

It seems some men enjoy leading the dance. While some men would be happier in a world where it's normal to ask every attractive woman ...."Do you find me attractive enough for sex?" as soon you meet them

Since when is flirting being a clown? Do men not enjoy flirting again?
