“Tall, Dark, and Handsome.”

Notice that tall is listed first.

We are all aware of many women marking that men must be at least 6 feet tall to ride on Tinder. Since women get hundreds of matches instantly, it only makes sense to put out some strict standards to thin the herd a little to a smaller group of men that they can actually spend time conversing with.

But, this doesn’t necessarily mean they are prioritizing height. Height is just a simple standard they can list compared to asking for a handsome face or a certain amount of muscle mass and strength. Asking that the man have a high salary is an even bigger red flag, and will deter wealthy men who fear gold diggers, whereas asking for a tall guy does not scare lanklets.

However, these tall men might severely outrank her in relationship market value, being the top 20% of men, and relentlessly pump and dump and never commit. Since these women manage to match with them though, they may have an inflated view of their own relationship market value.

In the U.S., 14.5% of men are over 6 feet tall, and only 3.9% are 6’2” or taller. Yet, 58% of Fortune 500 CEOs are over 6 feet tall. In presidential debates, large effort is put into the podiums to make the candidates appear roughly the same size, and height is historically a major factor in who wins the election. The last 8 U.S. presidents have all been over 6 feet tall.

Height and reach is also really important in athletics, such as basketball, volleyball, and mma. A common debate in lookism and blackpilled forums is height vs face, and whether a 6’2” guy with a normie face has the advantage over a 5’9” guy with a Chadlite face.

Even outside of direct sexual attraction, height seems to have many benefits career and social status wise, which indirectly boosts smv.

Just how hard do women select for height? Would a 6’5” guy have a significant advantage over a 6’1” guy, even if the 6’1” guy is smarter or more fit? Is there diminishing returns, where as long as you aren’t really short it doesn’t matter much? Discuss.
