I figured the responses to u/philomexa ’s thread about being a moody artistic type would be negative, but I was suprised at HOW negative. Of course some people are tone deaf, some completely lacking in artistic ability, etc. , not everyone is going to be Trent Reznor lite. But I honestly thought the general idea of channeling negative energy into something that gets you a lot of female attention was a good one.

No, D and D dungeon master doesn’t count, and neither does your skill at some video game. How about doing other things that attract women? Being good at a sport, slam poetry, community theatre...you know, anything that social, extroverted men do which proves they have confidence and mastery. You do NOT have to be famous, just the focus of the room for the night, to get the attention of a few women.

So while I’m not shocked that plenty of guys are like “nah, moody guitar player ...it’s not for me”, I am surprised at the responses that were basically saying “if a woman doesn’t like me exactly as I am, then too bad”. I agree to some extent with “be yourself”, but seriously though, WHAT IF YOU SUCK?

I feel like the best part of the red pill philosophy, self improvement, is over around here. The red pill says if you look like a weakling, lift. If you’re fat, lose weight. If you dress like shit, get some clothes that fit. Does this not extend into personality too, or is TRP just dead around here?
