Hi men!

I’m attractive, and I’m very aware of what this means in terms of male attention. But it doesn’t protect me from men with bad intentions, I sometimes think it makes it harder. I can tell men find me attractive/treat me differently to other women, and I do get asked out, but it’s often by the extroverted ones who may not always be looking for a relationship - the men I think have qualities I admire, despite showing interest (and receiving my IOIs) don’t ask me out!

I don’t do casual sex or “situationships”, I watch men’s actions not their words, I’m very clear about what I want in a man, but don’t have strict criteria on looks or height beyond finding him attractive. I’m a good person. I’m kind, fun, genuinely care about people, have a career, support myself etc, so I want to find a man who’s my match.

Here’s the thing, given I don’t do casual sex, any man I dated would have to be willing to date without sex until we were exclusively in a relationship. And despite me being independent in every way, I would still love to be with a man who was generous and wanted to provide for me (pay for dates, get me gifts, take pride in being the provider), not that I intend on not working but it’s the principle.

What do you think of these two standards? Would a girl like me scare you off? Do men just not bother waiting for sex because some other woman is willing to sleep with them now, and is the idea of being a provider as a man outdated/a turn-off?
