Some of the takes in this sub are just nothing more than confidence killers for guys. As if we don’t have enough shit to deal with without every second “pilled” guy telling people they’re fucking doomed romantically because of X or Y. Jesus Christ.

According to many on this sub I should be perpetually alone. I’m 5 8 on a good day and I’ve been bald since 18. I’m not rich and I’m not jacked. I have guys who can’t get laid here telling me, married and also with a successful sexual history that guys like me are fucked.

You’re not. Not if you try to be more than your height, your wallet, your hair. Just be fucking interesting.

I dated a dude who was 5'7 "short" supposedly. He was a professional MMA fighter, trust me, people respected him. He was super intimidating. He made 6 figures as a first responder. He was never bullied growing up because the neighborhood kids knew not to fuck with him, he had no problem punching someone. His situation is pretty much the exact opposite of what you're trying to claim here.

As a man who is 6 foot 1 barefoot, I can’t relate, but I feel for my short bros. If it makes you feel any better, I genuinely do see short men with hot women from time to time. I work at a resort and see couples all the time, and I do see it. I do think women prefer height, but it’s not the end all be all. It’s just an obstacle . I’m black, and it can make dating harder for sure, but it’s just an obstacle that you have to try to find a way to maneuver around . Also, I’ve known some short dudes who were absolute slayers too.

If I'm not mistaken, the obsession with height came to be like 10 years ago. Not saying it was not important before that, but it was seen more as another feature. I guess the reason is the apps.

I do think life is way harder for shorter males, but you can get some retribution:

Don't raise another man's kids just for some used-up pussy. You don't owe women anything, except your mom being born. Use prostitution or foreign women.
Pay the least taxes you can, accrue properties and wealth for self-interest and maximum independence. Move to a state with no income taxes and no property taxes if you can. At some point you can live off dividends or only work enough for yourself and no one else. A society that treated you as trash does not deserve your surplus, and that surplus will be used to keep females and other men's kids around. Avoid the most taxes possible in the legal ways.
Don't defend women or anyone... after all, you are short and you have a good excuse to not risk your life, so maxx that out. If you are not treated as a man because you are short, society does not owe any manhood you have left.

If you're short and struggling to get girls, your height isn't the sole reason why you can't get girls. Don't get me wrong, being short is a disadvantage in the dating market but at the same time, plenty of short men have girlfriends and get laid.

The short men that get girls have other positive qualities about themselves that make up for their short stature. It could be anything from having an attractive face, having an attractive physique, being naturally charming and extroverted, and/or having a good job.

On the other hand, the short men that struggle with dating have other negative features about themselves in addition to their short stature.

I'm 6'0" and it's pretty obvious it adds to my appeal to women, a lot are fairly straight forward with it. I don't like incels but I also strongly dislike bluepilled people, cause they have such a naive childish way of looking at the world.

That being said I know 6'3" tall white guys with handsome faces who can't really get attractive women or got dead bedroomed by their wives right after marriage. So to say that 5'6" guys are all out there having a great time just seems like wild fantasy.

Also incels are wrong that short men can't get girls, they can and do, but I think their height weighs on them. I've had short guys do invisible lats to me in stores just because I happen to be standing next to their girl picking out bakery items. Reality is that women are fickle and come and go with the tide.

I do regional BJJ and used to do regional MMA tourneys, and I've gotten my ass kicked by shorter guys. If you take a look at some of the smaller Olympic-style lifters (170lbs ish), I guarantee you they lift way more than guys with much more impressive physiques.

The only people that I see worry about size is people who haven't done anything real. I guarantee you that top ranked heavyweight boxer (Tyson in his prime fighting at 5ft10 at 220) would beat TF out of any strongman even though many if them have 100lbs of muscle on a boxer. Even a middleweight MMA guy like Strickland (185lbs) would probably not have a tough time against a strongman.

The average man in my mother's Maternal family is 6'1-6'7.

For my mom's family Im short. I'm taller than her siblings children but shorter than my second cousins.

These posts always make me laugh😂. My brother is tall and always has been. In middle school people would joke a tell him he should play basketball(just to give you an idea of how tall). In middle school my brother was also severely bullied, like physical and mental shit. And guess what. He’s bully was short and one of the most popular boys in school. He’s still short, like 5’8 at most, and still gets TONS of girls(from what I hear). It's not wrong for *some* women to not prefer short men, it's their choice. Even some guys don't like fat women. That is not wrong too. We are animals at the end of the day, and we look for the best in the room as our partner. Period.

If you think working on your physique, personality and looks is just to appease women then you're doing it for the wrong reasons. You owe it to yourself to be healthy.

If you're poor, educate yourself and earn money. Work hard.

If you're overweight, get fit and ripped. Take care of your diet and nutrition. Take care of any health issues you have.

If your face is not attractive, work on a skin and hair care routine. Groom properly. Trim nose hairs. Keep your teeth clean and check your breath. Cut your nails.

If you dress poorly, then buy good clothes and footwear. Try nice watches and hand accessories.

If you are into PMO, which is highly likely then stop doing it. It distorts your perception of people and makes you view them like sex objects.

If you are not social, learn how to be a people person, have a warm personality. Be fun to be around with. Women really like those who can make them laugh and make them feel special. You can do sports, clubs, parties and so many activities to meet people and grow your social circle. That's how people with relationships usually meet. Also, try to be friends with women first before hitting on them or dropping a pickup line but not like "can we be friends?", try to find some ways to initiate a genuine convo, try to get to know her, give her time to get familiarized with you. Don't keep convos lengthy but short and interesting. In between the conversation just slip some place or activity that she likes and ask if she would want to go together. If she doesn't want to then it's your cue she's not interested. That's it, you move on and whether to stay friends with or not it's up to you.

How others see you or treat you is no reason to not improve yourself. Period.

I think it's only a problem with OLD where women can be stupidly picky, or really short guys... But honestly, I think it's overblown by most dudes. In my experience, shorter guys have a "vibe" to them which is the turnoff. They seem more needy and wanting to appease people - a sort of anxious energy with a chip on their shoulders. But short dudes who don't have this energy, and just act and behave with the same confidence and energy as their taller counterparts, I think the "issue" completely vanishes.
