Mandatory nationwide military service. It will instill in young men ideals of male fitness, health and aesthetics, and the close contact with other men will create bonds of friendship that will last an entire life.

Hey, it worked with every man in my family.

I don’t disagree with that comment. Though perhaps not “mandatory” since “liberties” and all.

I’m the type of kid who willingly signed up for “Camp Cadet” type of stuff in my youth and genuinely was considering Annapolis for undergrad, so grain of salt, but I think some sort of consistent soft-compulsory participation in things like that would benefit lots of young boys.

Proxies for this AKA what I mean by “military style” are little league sports, junior varsity sports, varsity sports, ROTC, fraternities, etc. The goal is physicality, team building, social accountability, discipline, and masculine bonding and rapport-building.

Naval Academy freshmen doing dude things in manly bodies!

Go them!
