Biological privileges don't matter much anymore. Most people are slobs looking for shortcuts to be in shape rather than eating well and being physically active.

From a dating perspective, women do have an advantage but tbh it's become ridiculous the amount of power some of these guys assign to women due to the advantage.

Feminists often say mens problems are not of interest to them. And that’s despite women reinforcing certain gender norms is a part of why some of those problems exist. But feminists say they don’t care.

So how can you expect men to care about this? A problem that nature itself created and that’s basically impossible to solve. Why would men care? Why isn’t the reaction: “Well it’s not my problem, just take the pill and hit the gym if you wanna change something about that”?

I think the genders should start by acknowledging the different areas where each gender has it easier or harder before trying to do the math of which gender is more advantaged overall, in life or in some specific area like 'dating'.

Women do face more medical challenges related to reproduction. Men face more rejection. Sex is more dangerous for women. There is a male burden of performance in mating that is in tension with egalitarianism everywhere else. Etc. How one would value each of these factors in any kind of overall analysis of who is advantages at what would be a different discussion.

The problem is that a lot of pillers forget that the theories are ultimately aimed at helping men from the perspective of men (nothing wrong with that! Everyone deserves advice) and attempt to apply to it universally where it fails.

Men are less relevant biologically because less of us are required for our continued survival, and this has an impact on how relationships happen. Women are favored in that front.

However, this is not a huge benefit to women beyond the scope of dating. The pills should limit themselves to that rather than crafting a cosmovision of the world.

Men have it easier biologically yes, idk how to solve that issue though! The other part of your argument is just funny because it’s just straight untrue. Women can control whether or not they want to hook up with someone or if they want to vet their character and look for a long term option, a small minority of men have that luxury, while a huge majority of women do.

I would say that someone who is able to filter through the bad ones and find the good ones has an advantage over someone who has no group to filter from. That's just me though.

Well on average those biological privileges don’t matter much in the modern times. Unless it is superior to the level of being a football or basketball player then it doesn’t mean too much. Since nowadays we live in such an advanced society that it won’t matter as much.

Since most things that are doable, can be done by both sexes. So, it is technically easier being a woman, since they get way more advantages in life, especially within dating.

A man has the hormones that drive us but if there is no success, then it can be a hinderance if anything. So that biological stuff can be painful as a man if there is failure, which is much easier to have as a man.

None of the issues you list can be called 'common', even pregnancy isn't 'common' anymore. In my country, 40% women will remain childless in their lives. And some of the issues (like placenta accreta) have <0.5% occurrence, so using them as an example is manipulative at best.

But I'll bite.

If a woman has her reproductive organs surgically removed due to legitimate medical reasons, do you concur that she looses the 'biological disadvantage' you claim she has?

As men do not have female sex organs they do not have to deal with common medical issues relating to it or birth control.

Women have more women specific issues but men have 2 general debuffs that makes them more susceptible to most things. Being bigger in general has a cost in life expectancy and being more diverse also has a cost in life expectancy.

Don't get me wrong, there are better metrics than life expectancy...but you're not using the better metrics eithers.

Dating is more risky for women

I think dating is actually less risky for women, women are just overly focused on extreme scenarios where they do have slightly more risk but gloss over their very low chances for more realistic risks that don't make the news. A lot of women like to say they are worried about getting murdered as some kind of proof they are super oppressed but really that's just proof they are so privileged they can worry about extremely unlikely scenarios.

Women have more low quality suitors, more medium quality suitors and more high quality suitors. Women are privileged, they just dislike that they can't have their cake and eat it too.

The way I would put it is that almost all women have the option to get rid of the thing they are complaining about at the cost of losing the upside of those things and it turns out almost no woman is willing to (actually) do that.

I think men definitely do have their issues: they are lonely, they do have higher expectations to provide and succeed than women do, and they have to be drafted, and they have to bottle in their feelings more which is not healthy.

That said, I strongly disagree with their proposed solutions to all these problems but I don't disagree they have problems and suffering isn't a contest. A talking point I disagree with on their side is the custody thing, a lot of men straight up don't care enough to have custody of their kids and so that's why they don't even fight for it. Men who actually fight to have custody overwhelmingly get custody at least 50/50.

I'm sympathetic about menstrual pain and related issues. The other stuff doesn't really apply since I'm not interested in having kids, and I share in the responsibility of birth control, ie, if she doesn't like the pill for any reason then it's up to me (condoms or no penetration).

I would say women do, but thats more of the fault of men. Not even talking about children, there are guys who struggle with long term relationships or even getting a date.

Also, few women are really into hookups like they wish women were into.
