What's the best way to correct bad behavior without breaking frame?

Occasionally, I'll see petty displays of bad behavior that don't matter now, but indicate she's testing her limits; if I respond too harshly, I'm met with "Why are you mad? It was just x" or "I can't believe you're so mad about this".

I know I need to DEER, but she's putting me in a frame where her conclusion is that I've lost control. I'm concerned that she's rationalizing it away as me getting angry for no reason.

For reference, I usually say something like "When you do x, it's disrespectful. You know better." I don't feel there's undue aggression attached at all.

Current Doubt: TRP only works AFTER the initial attraction [which is primarily based on looks] and that you can't game your way into a girl's pants

You approach a girl who gave you IOI - she was already attracted to you which was mainly because of your looks and physical traits - Now you use TRP to not blow it. If there were no attraction t your looks then even with TRP you might have gotten a # - but she would have flaked

If a girl isn't attracted to you physically then TRP/Game isn't very useful. And its of no point to approach a girl who hasn't given you any IOIs or signals [apart from the improving your social skills aspect]

So it all comes down to your looks. So a 6 with TRP knowledge won't be pulling 9s. And its best to spend all effort on getting your looks in order instead of reading all the TRP literature every day

In philosophy, they have the idea of "the real." Best way I can describe "the real" is when you are fucking a chick, for a moment you realize the rediculousness of it. I have recently caught up with a couple of women I had sex with over a longer period of time by walking into them at random. We start talking and they bring up the time "we" had. They all tell me that I have hurt them in some way, often by hard nexting them, with some of them almost tearing up. Last night my fraternity had a joint Mardi Gras party with another fraternity, held at their house. Nights going well, trying to not get too drunk, talking to lots of people, etc. At one point noticed an exceptionally good looking girl, but didn't approach her immediately. Made eye contact with her once or twice throughout the night but wasn't too focused on it, I didn't feel I had a good opportunity to approach (music was insanely loud inside). Later on in the night, I'm outside where it's a bit quieter, chatting with a buddy and I see her standing with a small group of people, sort of on the other side of this small courtyard. Catch eyes with her again and make sure to not break contact first, which prompts her to acknowledge it, sort of laugh and make some exaggerated gesture and say something. (don't exactly remember what) Im guessing she isn't used to being the one to look away first? So I immediately walk over there and start talking to her (definitely the hottest girl I've cold(ish) approached - usually much easier to make connections through social circles/warmer approaches in college in my experience) I teased her a bit about reacting a second ago, introduce myself, chat a bit, added some light kino. I wouldn't say I was killing it and she was immediately head over heals for me, but I thought it was going fine. Conversation was flowing fine, whatever, but then suddenly one of the two guys (in the other fraternity, the one whose house we were at) just butts in with something along the lines of "ok buddy, this is getting to be a bit much. Enough's enough". And basically tries to make me feel like I'm being a creep, tells me how she gets hit on all the time, etc. (he's literally the white knight coming in to defend her honor, it was hilarious to me to watch) I break from talking to the girl and sort of humor them, introduce myself to this guy and his friend, talk about our two fraternities, basically try to show that I wasn't phased and wasn't going to immediately turn and tuck my tail between my legs. After a minute or so of chatting with me they all started to head back inside to get another beer, and I went my separate way back to my friends. I was getting kind of drunk, and I think I could've handled it better than I did, in a TRP lense. I can read how things are going with a girl and knew this girl wasn't going to come home with me or anything, but it was definitely neutral at worst. I had been hoping to at least just grab her number but didn't get a chance for that. If she didn't want to me to keep talking with her, she could've made that clear, but her white knight came and made sure my one on one time was done anyway.

Been reading TRP for a year and a half or so and it's had a huge positive impact on my life and on my game, but I've never had a situation like this. Beyond this particular story, how do you guys handle white knights trying to cock block you?

I have a situation I'm not sure how to deal with here. I'll try to keep it short.

I'm 20 years old and attending college. I'm starting the journey of empowering myself and becoming more like the version of a man you guys portrait here on TRP. I have been shy and mostly a beta my whole life, and haven't had much luck with girls because of my lack of social skills, until recently. I started my first real job last year at the local mall and it has helped me become more confident overall. I have never pursued a girl I've been interested because of my shy nature so I've never had a girlfriend before. Well when I started this job one of my female coworkers of the same age as me was very interested in me. She pursued me and I went along with it. We went out, got along very well, had sex several times, but I never really was very physically attracted to her. I was attracted to the attention and validation she gave me. I realized this and ended the relationship before it went along any further.

This relationship boosted my confidence more, and I am very thankful it happened. Now I have another girl interested in me in one of my classes. She is confident and outgoing, constantly telling me how handsome I am, but I do not find her physically attractive. I told her I'm not looking for a relationship and she told me that neither is she. We have very vague plans for dinner sometime.

I want an opinion from you guys. She is coming off as only wanting to have fun, but I'm not feeling it too much. But I also want to step up my game and confidence with other girls. Should I use this as a chance to gain experience? How should I confront this situation if I want to grow into a man (to be honest I don't feel like a "real" man yet, but I'm all in for improving myself to get there)

Been living in a new country as a student for a while now. Things are good and I'm doing well on many fronts. I've always been self-focused and not much of a sexual guy- little to no experience with women, etc. However, girls have been showing great interest in me for some reason and my social proof is currently through the roof as a result.

With the exception of sex (I can get it easily should I want to), one classmate has been giving me the whole 'girlfriend experience'. I even stayed with her family and shit (remember I'm practically a foreigner, so I can get away with some things). She's my age, a bit of a Plain Jane and seems pretty inexperienced as well (rare but good thing in this day and age, I could be wrong though).

Now, though it's not in my nature to pursue any kind of relationship with women, I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone and accumulate new experiences and whatnot. Considering that I don't feel strongly about this girl (no risk of oneitis) and that I stand to benefit in more than one way without sacrificing much, do you think I should go for it? Question: Is this chick trying to beta bucks me?

I recently made plans to go out for drinks with an old plate from pre-TRP days who I haven’t seen in a while. We texted each other Thursday to make plans for the following night. On Friday, we exchanged a few texts to discuss logistics. A few hours before meeting up, she asks if I’m cool with Chad. Chad is an old friend of mine who I also haven’t seen in a while. This seemed like a shit test but she definitely wants to (or already has) fucked Chad. I just said “yeah why” and she said he was thinking of coming out.

His name never came up again and it ended up just being me and her. First she showed up at my place with a bottle so we could pre-game. While we were pre-gaming, we were just catching up on stuff, talking about sex lives and relationships and the like.

After an hour or so we went out to a bar. I bought the first round since she supplied the pre-game drinks. The second round I just grabbed a water to see if she would still try and get me to pay for it, and she did pay but I could tell she was waiting until the last second to open her wallet, as if I was supposed to pay $15 for a cup of water.

She was acting all sick or whatever by the time we got to my house and said she wanted to go home. I told her to text me when she got home because I’ve been trying to make a habit of that whether I have sex or not, because of a post I read on TRP about avoiding delayed rape accusations.

She texted 10 minutes later and said she was home, and asked if “I was good”. I guess she probably thought I was pissed we didn’t fuck or something, I’m not sure. She was asleep when I got there but I woke her up and I tried to escalate like 3 times and she was “way too tired” or whatever.

Is there anyone here that has successfully adapted to going out solo when they were never comfortable with it in the first place?

For the sake of context and at the risk of being dismissed for the brag: I'm in the top 20% of men...it may be the lowest percentile of that top 20%, esp. compared to my potential for growth and the men that I look up to and admire -- but my awareness of my comparative value takes all aspects of my life into consideration (looks, finances, game, experience, knowledge, charisma-personality, etc). I wasn't always this way, I have a much more "hard case" background that led me onto this journey.

To continue, I have an upper-intermediate level of game: This could mean different things to different people but I like the definition that Jeffy from RSD gave to distinguish this from "expert level", that you can approach, build attraction, and pull attractive women consistently but you don't do the high-risk things with the women in the top 10% of SMV that have the chance for high-payoff but will potentially get you blown out hard...like having the brash to pull a pair of 9-10s for a threesome, as an example. Jeffy's advice was, of course, to take the high-risk option whenever it presents itself.

Back to the question: I have gone out alone many times and the discomfort is real. I'm introvert-dominant but have a high-energy, social/gregarious side that I can get into when I go out with friends. Its much harder to boost my state when solo compared to being with a good mixed-set social circle and I do not feel confident about "rebounding" should a situation go mediocre and I have no one to rely on except myself. Its my current goal to start "social circle gaming" people that I don't know...building rapport with cool people and just assembling the group then and there. I understand that if I cultivate "mini-relationships" with people at the venue, I can do my cold-approaches and just keep bouncing back and forth to my "insta-friends" for good social proof and keeping my social energy elevated.

I would love to hear from people who have taken some approach to this (solo game) and succeeded. Specific mindsets or goals you created would be appreciated.

I've improved, i lift, I am now a vital part of two social groups which has raised my smv tremendously, i have 3 plates at the moment, but now i think i can do better on the plates. So just read the rational male, "message in the medium post." Lately I've been trying to decipher what "the message" that women send to men, because although illogical I do think taking the time to understand it is worthwhile.
