This sub is definitely a lot different from a year or two ago. A lot of guys found that RSD had valuable content that they learned off of, but now that RSD rebranded into general self help and a lot of PUAs got shut down because of that BBC documentary thing, the sub feels a little different. I'm most surprised when the consensus of people are now rejecting Todd V as a solid PUA. It pretty much only took that one cringey video and now everyone hates the dude when not too long ago the consensus was he was an elite PUA that a lot of people resonated with.

I also read a post probably about a month ago where a user talked about content being watered down. At first I brushed it off but now I think there's a lot of truth to it. I think we can agree pick up has transitioned a lot from the Mystery Method style and probably for the better because the Models "style" of game is overall more healthier and not reliant on gimmicks. But recently, advanced game elements are pretty much being rejected and labeled as tryhard which I find really interesting and it's like the sub is blending into a less socially awkward version of r/socialskills.

Then again it's also interesting how Todd V videos still get a lot of upvotes but it's the few people who comment that make the most noticable noise. So I'm not really sure what direction discussions are headed but it really does feel like it's mimicking RSD's transition to self help and the farthest extent of pickup advice is going to be push-pull.
