Due to a past relationship, I [25M] struggle to trust my partners and feel like I have to constantly improve myself and always be on my A-game to be good enough. Since the breakup, I’ve found a lot of red-pill content that further amplifies my lack of trust for women, and the insecurities I have of being cheated on.

my biggest fear though is being totally blind to unfaithfulness; that the girl I’m with could hide it so well or even worse lie to me so I would never know. Whether it is flirting online, making out in a bar or going all the way, if she’s hiding it or even worse, lying, there is nothing more emotionally painful.

The concept of hypergamy is really disheartening for me as well, in that women always have a roster of men to pull from and if I slip up or am deemed not good enough.

There’s a quote that goes something like, ”you can’t trust that others will never hurt you, you can only trust that you’ll be strong enough to handle it when they do”

but even with that there’s an inevitability that infidelity will usually be present to some degree, no? So will this always happen, or are there other dating dynamics at play to balance this out?
