Some of it might become problematic, but most of it isn't memorable enough to be noticed, let alone resurface in 10 years. Not to mention that if extremely explicit content becomes the norm, which I doubt, nobody will care about it anymore.

i think the most likely thing to happen is there will be some type of "delete me from the internet" service that companies like google will be forced to create. everyone finds things through search engines, so while it may still exist out there on the internet, google can de-list it. they already do this by request afaik, but they are going to have to implement it at a much larger scale than it currently is. there are going to be A LOT of women in the next 10 years who want to erase all traces of their porn past from the internet, and eventually google will cave into their demands.

Especially when you have your face plastered all over your content. My daughter sees this, and this is her example in life.

We are good parents, and we're raising good people. What a concept.

It will get buried. Your posts already basically completely disappear if you deactivate your account, nobody archives that data, and no one will care after 10 years. So the incidents will become isolated at best.

But yes, if someone doesn't delete their account, the service still exists in 10 years, or the archival service has decent indexing, it's not going to be good.
