Ideas get bounced around among men in echo chambers, and eventually taken as "truth". Any dissenting ideas from women, are automatically dismissed at "politically correct", or just "said to make women look good". Any dissenting ideas from men, must be the work of "white knights" or "beta doormat guys".

It's a bit like how a lot of people treat dogs. Dogs HATE two things....being hugged, and having their head patted. Yet, the first thing a lot of people do when they greet a dog....is hug them, and pat their head. Dogs can't talk, but if they COULD talk, they would tell you, they don't like those behaviors, just as those who study dogs in depth, tell you they don't like those behaviors.

Doing things that dogs don't like, is at lease excusable, since they can't communicate. Having such off base ideas about woman, a group of people that communicate quite well, is not excusable, and a little silly, given how vocal women are, when it comes to things like porn. As a guy who has been on discussions boards since the net's infancy in the mid-90's, I've NEVER heard a woman say that emulating porn behavior, is a good thing for men, or makes men better lovers.

When it comes to sex, maybe listen to women? If you're going to listen to men, maybe stop listening to the guys who get a NEW woman into their bed each week, and start listening to the guys who manage to get the SAME woman to HAPPILY RETURN to their bed, each week. When it comes to sex, REPEAT business, is the measure of a man.
