I hate to say this, but if we are talking about men today, they rarely, if ever, get attention, validation, or compliments in regards to their looks or sexual appeal... well, most men don't. So, no, I think it would definitely hit different with most men today. Men would lap that shit up like gravy and ask for more.

I would fucking love women's attention. Like for example approaching me first and talking about sex, and even telling me to grab her and not let her go, with her laughing. That kind of attention. But for me to love it she must be at least of legal age, and I also prefer "half your age plus seven" rule.

In all seriousness it wouldn't hit men the same way as it does women unless men also adopted the same behavior as women. Otherwise men would still act the same way to them. The main ones who have a problem with women expressing sexuality now are men who are religious fundamentalists or they do not get any actionm themselves so they hate outside the club. At least this would solve the latter.

It's true that there's necessarily a "supply and demand" economy. If women cared more extensively about sexual experiences, men wouldn't need to care as much. Men care about sex as much as they do because of it's scarcity, same as any useful resource that's rare. For the same reason, women are more hesitant to engage in sexual experiences. You aren't ever going to be desperate or emotionally turbulent in the sexual marketplace because of the abundance of options. You'll be pickier.

And you're right in assuming that, if the opposite circumstance existed, men would be the same way. Sure it's instantiated by biological features, but in a hypothetical situation where men had an abundance of options, all it would mean is that women desire what the men have more than the men desire what the women have. So it's almost self-evident.

Actually, the issue isn’t their libido, it’s that they aren’t humble enough to choose partners who would actually be happy with them long term.

Instead of spending their 20’s trying to lock down men who would almost never commit to women like them, they could avoid spoiling themselves with sex from men who are too desirable to commit to them.

I disagree, based on the fact that most men don't act inappropriately around women they don't know. The one's that do just stand out more and make the rest of us look bad. My wife gets upset when I act in the exact way I want her to treat me.

I have been approached aggressively by gay men multiple times and the only time I had any problem with it was when a customer of mine was getting a little too handsy and grabbing my arm, feeling my chest, and complimenting my muscles. The rest of the time it was flattering even when their approach was perverse. I've had a couple women grab me inappropriately and make sexual statements. Even though I had no interest, I actually kind of liked it.

Eh. I'm torn.

I'm tall and very muscular. I've been hit on, catcalled, stared at, groped, ass smacked...you name it.

There were times when it felt a little dehumanising but, admittedly, it often was dependent on how attractive the girl was. I was speaking to a girl in the gym recently and she was kinda...looking my up and down. Like, almost oogling whilst she was talking to me. I gotta be honest, I didnt really know how to feel about it. A part of it felt a little eugh but a part of was also empowering.

I also think the danger element is somewhat nullified, I'm a 6ft5 man with extensive experiencing doing kickboxing, jiu jitsu and MMA. I just dont feel any sense of danger from most people. I cant imagine the same being said for a 5ft4 21 year old. When I was catcalled or groped, I just grossed out/amused, but I didnt have the same sense of danger which I'm sure women feel when they're sexually harassed.

I think its important to acknowledge men and women are different. I'm black and often times I've heard black women claim that white/non-black women are fetishising black men when they express interest in them. A part of this is true (I've experienced it plenty) but then it also kinda fails to understand that a lot of us as men like this. I honestly cant say I'm all that regretful of the "BBC fetishists" I had ONS with over the years before settling. Whereas I cant imagine women feeling the same way.

I don't think so, simply because the biological nature of the two sexes is such that women will always be more afraid of men than the other way around (even when this is irrational due to changes in society).

We actually do know what it's like when women are like this: just ask (or be) Chad. In reality, men can be somewhat irritated by and tired of too much female sexual attention, but it doesn't seem to cause the same level of upset that the reverse does.

I watched the video.

I think anyone who assaults their partner in their sleep is behaving unacceptably, regardless of sex or gender. So I don't see what scene 1 has anything to do with horniness.

With the following scenes, I understand why it is uncomfortable for women (I am a trans man so I've been on both sides), but I honestly think most men would enjoy it if they had women coming up to them like that in public — i know I would if I was single.

The other thing is we don't need to imagine if women were as horny as men, because gay people exist, and they largely corroborate what I say. Lesbians are horny in a connected way but not in the automatic, disembodied way that men are. Gay men are horny and very easily triggered by other men — they experience sex mechanically — and they have a lot of fun with it.

I wanna be clear I'm fully with you on empathising with women and understanding their struggles. I just don't think it can really be reduced to "men wouldn't like it if women were this horny" because... we probably would. It's normal in some gay bars for men to grope each other (it's seen as flirty, not offensive), and they can have sex whenever they want and do so very casually. The world would just be like that except between men and women if they had the same sex drive as men.

I've been harassed by a few feminine gay guys and even one masculine one (although I'm not 100% sure what happened that night). The big guy made me feel completely helpless but thankfully my friends were there to make sure he left and I was ok.

If all guys thought of me that way I shudder to think about what my life would be like. And I'm a guy who's 5'10" 160lbs so not super small but even i make sure i stay safe around other men. Having older brothers does that too i guess lol. I know how quickly things can get crazy with an aggressive guy.

I've also had some women come on to me as well when I wasn't interested for different reasons and it got old very fast when they didn't take the hint. Having to deal with that on a daily basis would suck ass. And if they were all bigger, stronger, and more intimidating than me then it would be so much worse.

They say that a man fears a woman will laugh at him while a woman fears a man will kill her. Well, I feel similarly to women when I say that I worry men will kill me and I'm an average sized man so I can't imagine being even smaller and weaker and with even less aggression.
