What is it with dudes who listen to the podcast and then feel compelled to send me pages and pages of "constructive criticism"?

And then it always finishes with something like, "I really hope you read this, I look forward to your response. I'm actually a big fan of the podcast. Do you have Discord/whatsapp/kik/instagram? My username/number is XYZ"

I don't even fully read the "constructive criticism" part, it's all the same shit so I just skim it and by the time I scroll to the bottom he's asking for my number.

And they'll say some pretty extreme stuff in the first part, too:

"You're promoting abusive relationships against men"

"You're wrong about men, not all men are like that, if you meet a lot of trash men it's because you're trash"

"You're telling single mothers to abuse their sons" (I literally NEVER said anything even CLOSE to that)

[Mansplaining to me about what men are aCkShuaLLy like]

"You're teaching women to be manipulative gold diggers"

"My girlfriend broke up with me because of you, so you owe me"

"You're just adding fuel to the gender wars, making women hate men isn't going to fix anything"

"This is a hate group [list of comparisons between me and Hitler]"

"FDS is ableist, classist, racist, racist-against-white-men, sexist, sexist-against-men, transphobic, not-transphobic-enough, homophobic, "promotes lesbianism", fatphobic, promotes obesity, misogynist, misandrist, communist, conservative, fascist... [insert other "ists" and "phobics"]"

Blah blah blah.

Men are so weird. If they think I'm this horrible abusive monster then why would they want to talk to me and get to know me better? When a woman spots an abusive man she is afraid, but when a man thinks a woman is "abusive" he wants to talk to her more?

One guy even finished with "so anyways, I'm looking for my soulmate... [blah blah blah]... please respond"

Really? Is that your idea of a "soulmate" someone you can argue with, belittle, and gaslight?

It's so bizarre. Is this an attempt at flirting with me? WHY would they think a woman would even respond positively after reading a 5 page manifesto about what a horrible bitch he thinks she is?

It's like these guys literally do not know how to interact with a woman without insulting her. Or maybe they just want to hate fuck me as "revenge" because they see sex as inherently degrading to women (thereby proving my point...)

It's pathetic, really. Just goes to show how desperate and sexually depraved so many men are.

It's not quite hate mail, it's not quite fan mail, so I'm gonna start calling this genre of "feedback" from men "hate fan mail"

I deliberately don't turn off my DMs because I find this sort of thing deeply amusing 😂
