Up until I was about 28 , my insecurities amount my height were present when I was using online dating. Every single woman I matched with no matter how good the conversation was asked me the holy grail of questions. HOW TALL ARE YOU. Whatever confidence I had died as I told her I am 5'8 and saw many a woman's attention taper off.

Has this hindered my sex life, not that much ,but it is annoying nonetheless. This is until I gained a different perspective. I am 💯 ok now with my height. Until online dating I didn't even realise it was that serious. The thing is I respect everyone's self professed preferences. Their life.

What I have realised is that anyone who creates an arbitrary standard as rigid as height and picking a specific number to which they expect their partner to be,has issues far more concerning that will come forth later in the relationship. This is the equivalent of a man stating I will only date girls with DD breasts. He will negate all other attractive qualities of this woman because she lacks specifically DD breatsts. This is his prerogative and no one can tell him that he's wrong, and he isn't, but the underlying thought processes that. contribute to this pattern of thought will lend itself to more conflicting matters if one so happens to end up with this man.

All the 6ft and up guys who met women on tinder due to their height have probably met a lot of hidden icebergs. I for one now no longer give a shit about my height, if it doesn't work for you cool, but It's the determining factor as to how you choose suitors, that poor soul has other things he will soon be worrying about. Trash taking itself out. For the illiterate. I'm not saying women are wrong for finding tall men attractive, what I'm saying is that treating height as an arbitrary deciding factor in finding someone attractive, is the equivalent of looking for a nice human handbag to show off to friends.
