We all know the archetype of the belligerent and violent abuser, but I've noticed that my negative experiences with men have been with the more sensitive types ("Mr. Sensitive" from Why Does He Do That?). Their emotions lean more "sad" than angry, but they still manage to use their emotions as tools of manipulation and control. Maybe they're in therapy, so they use psychobabble to talk you out of your reactions to their behavior, or manage to make themselves the victim in every situation.

Because it's so insidious, I can have a hard time identifying it until it's too late. Could we talk about our experiences with these type of men and try to find some patterns?
