I read a lot on here that women's main dating struggle is having to weed through a lot of lousy men. The often-used metaphor is that while men are dying of thirst in a desert, women are dying of thirst in an ocean. There are two ways this can be interpreted:

A. There are so many men available to you that you couldn't possibly evaluate them all, and you probably end up rejecting some men who would've made good/compatible boyfriends, just because they blend into the sea of attention you receive.

or

B. There are a lot of men available to you, but it's pretty clear that none of them are actually decent options.

Which more accurately describes the dating struggle from a woman's perspective?
