I think average in this case is what you get when you take out the outliers on either side of a curve. I always say you should look at your school yearbook (or one online) because those are the truly average. Here whenever people talk about average they post celebrities they think are average looking. No. Go to the source, the well. So, open to any page and take ten people. Remove the top 2 and bottom 2 (or should it be top 3, bottom 3?). What's left is the "average".

As a man in his 40s an average woman to me would be someone who's about 5'5 160 lbs, single mom with a couple kids either in high school or getting ready to move out. She might have some college and has a standard hourly job where she might be making around 20 to $25 an hour. She's not fit and she's about a five in the looks department but can doll herself up with makeup and hair to a six or seven.

Upright and breathing. Just kidding. I’ll base my criteria on the bare minimum;

Mutual attraction; attraction, intimacy, and sex is initially the most important factor;
Communication; is fundamental to a healthy relationship;
Character; trust too is pivotal. Kindness, altruism and being a good person is important.

From there the average woman from there has been attractive to me, employed, shared decent communication, and some common interests. Though I’ve dated from strippers, to oceanographers, archeologists, and anaesthetists. Also have dated big girls, gym rats like me, and every size in between. So on average that initial attraction, plus the connection, has been a recurring pattern.

Those complaining probably have too much time, and not as much desire to change. If someone wants something bad enough; they’ll make it happen.

If I were not married already, I’d expect to meet someone who was attractive as me, as fit as me, who doesn’t expect a man to be massively taller than her, who has a pleasant personality, and who enjoys intellectual conversations.

The problem is that even average women often have much more restrictive standards when it comes to men. Admittedly, another problem is that men often overestimate how attractive they are compared to other men.

The average and bare minimum used to be the same thing for me. You could have took one from all the girls I graduated high school with and there's a 50% chance the high school graduate me would be satisfied.

This is no longer the case. I didnt go to the best university in the world, work my ass off to get into a FAANG company, and earn 6 figure compensation just to settle for average. The bare minimum now would be that she be fit and attractive for me to invest in her. I've put too much into self improvement to commit to anyone lesser.

To me the average woman is materialistic, emotionally unintelligent, and lacking severely in the ways of empathy, compassion, authenticity, and honor. To me the average woman doesn’t know what motivates them through life, thus lacks conviction, and not only the inability to be honest with others but with herself. The average woman is driven mostly by a egotistical desire to be wanted and treated with respect even though she often disrespects herself and has a shallow moral compass and a superficial set of standards that can be broken. The average woman is lacking a feeling of purpose and meaning in her life that makes her feel whole and complete. They often are filled with envy, and operate from a injured state. Most are easily offended, and quick to retaliate. They usually use passive aggressive techniques and manipulation to achieve their goals. The average woman, in so many aspects, is much like the average man. My bare minimum standards are, someone who holds the same values as myself and displays consistent actions that backup said values. Someone who has a reputation for being respectful, genuine, and humble. Someone hard working and empathic to the suffering of others. I would not be with someone unless they hold themselves to the same standards that I set for my self and display the same level of accountability and integrity.

Nancy from HR. late 30s - early 50s. Got her bachelors in Communications from, NYU, BU,KU,BC, or wherever the fuck. Overweight. Just bought her new condo (thanks to a big helping hand from daddy). Tbh when it comes to women I usually separate "average" and "average pretty". There is such an insane abundance of pretty women in the world (at least to most men) that I've learned to give pretty its own average. Genuine average is probably like decent body proportions may be some chub. Usually around like 5'4. Jenna Fischer would be a good example. "average pretty" is usually good body proportions nothing crazy but some booty, some titty. Hair is probably decently done and not utterly damaged. Probably wears makeup typically but nothing too crazy. And anywhere from like 5'2 to 5'9 typically. A good example would be Jennifer Lawrence.

For this reason : if the average woman puts way more time, effort and money in her looks than the average man (yes gym membership is around 40$ a month and 5 jeans and 5 good shirts don’t cost that much, and most men don’t even do that they pull up in ugly clothes their mzma bought them a decade ago. I freely admit I'm not into average or what is typically considered attractive. Almost no celebrities do it for me except Sophia Vergara.

I like curvy ladies. I like a more-or-less hourglass or pear figure with big breasts. I like full lips and soft thighs. I like a small tummy. I prefer longer hair. I have a significant libido, so I need somebody willing to help satisfy it pretty often.

I like a sweet girl who cares about my feelings. I like a by-definition feminist who genuinely wants actually fair treatment among the sexes. I like a girl who doesn't expect to get paid for on the first date. I want her to be politically left-leaning, but not too far.

I don't have much height preference. I'm not too worried about her job since I want to set up a cannabis farm eventually. As long as she got through high school, I'm not tok worried about her education, but I do want to be able to have a real conversation with her.

I feel like I'm trying to write a job description at this point, so that's enough. I have my partner already who fits basically everything I said above. She has similar tastes in women, but she likes asses more than I do, and she doesn't care as much about titties as I do

Some college education cause believe it or not not all girls finish college but a big chunk of them attended. Also, a big chunk never attended college.

Usually passive, friendly when you talk to them. Usually reserved when they don't know you but open up once they get to know you.

My absolute bare minimum is a woman that can have kids (fertile), isn't out of shape, doesn't harbor cynicism or malice and has a innocent demeanor about her. A woman who can sit still and serene and enjoys being female/feminine as if she chose it.

I also feel most attracted to women who feel amused and happy with my antics. Women that smile up at me like they're happy that I exist. THAT is a woman I can definitely fall in love with. I can't stress enough how utterly attractive that is. Especially when women do this weird little smile where they cup their hands under their chin and kinda half close their eyes with a wide smile. Not fat but not by any means toned or noticeably active, may do cardio twice a week

Educated at a college level with a useless degree and low 5 figures of debt

Makes 50-60K/year at a 9-5 corporate job

Lives paycheck to paycheck in order to have an apartment in heart of the city and regularly go out for food and drinks

Hooks up with random drunk chads when she goes out while single and ends up dating someone more looksmatched 2 years older with a similar lifestyle and somewhat higher salary after becoming somewhat self aware

My bare minimum:

Not fat, active and healthy, virgin or very low N count, pleasant to be around, could care less what you make or what your job or education is so long as you don't have bad spending habits, and not prone to hamfisting politics into everyday conversation (goes both ways, but this is usually the shrill feminist sjw types). As a 19 year old as of today a average woman is a girl a bit overweight (in America like 50% of men and women are classified overweight or suffer from another eating disorder) , in school , has a typical nuclear family, lives in college dorms or with parents, works Atleast part time, maybe a bit of religious views (you said average) , leans heavily one way towards one political party (average ,only like 20% if that don’t heavily identify one way) average woman isn’t a supermodel but most men would be happy with her assuming it’s not toxic.
