I see a lot of men whining here that it's "not ok" to hit on a girl anywhere anymore,

and go on to give all those

'in the gym' - "don't bother me when I'm working out"

'in the street' - "I'm trying to be somewhere"

And yes, online I see a lot of girls talk like that.

But when I speak to ACTUAL, real life girls,

all they say to me is

"why aren't you just hitting on women on the street? what do you have to lose?"

"I'm not everyone's type either, who cares? go to the next girl"

"I was a waitress once, I didn't mind guys hitting on me"

"The guys who got most women - they weren't the hottest - the have an over-the-top 'I don't give a fuck' attitude"

The "what do you have to lose" theme gets repeated quite a bit.

Some of those girls were sleeping with me, some friends.

Now, of course - they do say looks matter - but most of them don't want a model-type face (one of them even said the guy has to have something 'ugly' about his face, another said his face needs to have a 'twist'), just someone who looks fine - being well built is a [major?] plus.

Anyway, I agree the less attractive guys might typically get harsher responses and looks,

but it's not because girls don't want to be hit on, they just want to be hit on by men they MIGHT like.

That doesn't mean less-than-average guys shouldn't hit on women, it just means they shouldn't give a fuck when the response ain't pretty and move on to the next girl.
