I was at an Oktoberfest event in Park City yesterday. I'm 6 ft 3 and conventionally attractive myself, 41 but look 30, and was alone as usual. There were other men at the event who were alone as well, not as attractive but still good looking guys. Not a single attractive woman was alone. Matter of fact, I didnt even see an unattractive woman alone.

For starters I realized that women are rarely alone. They are either in groups of friends or with a mate. I observed the couples, and the make up was opposite of what the internet claims. I saw some women with more attractive men, but I saw A LOT of average guys with more attractive women.

The idea that all you need is height and looks is rediculous, social skills are without a doubt the most important. Despite having hollywood good looks, I struggle immensely with being extroverted. I can still approach, but I would never apporach groups of women. Im very introverted and reserved and my friends are few but long lasting.

A 5 ' 8'' man with average looks but a good career trajectory and solid communication skills will have a far better time dating than a tall good looking man that cant communicate.
