It depends a lot on the cultural context. Some people are considered losers in one group and neutral in another.

Some women online consider a woman a loser if she’s a “pick me.” It’s kind of like “simp” in that it gets thrown around for no good reason sometimes.

Loser isn't an academic term, it doesn't have a strict definition everyone has to follow. Most people's definition of loser is probably the complete opposite of what they want in life. In my opinion a woman loser would probably be someone who had a childhood pregnancy (excluding rape), someone who was born into nice financial conditions and still managed to flunk everything, in general, someone who's attempting to do something that most people can achieve, and fail even tough they don't have a big disadvantage

Supported by their parents the do a nonprofessional 3 year degree (or none at all).Never really work, travel or develop themselves in any meaningful way. The bar of being a loser is set differently for women. As long as they have kids and raise them, they have value.

Men don't get that pass, being a "house husband" isn't something thought of as good by a majority of people. Guys who go this route are often seen as freeloaders and quite honestly they often are. Its not in the male nature as a rule.

Now if a woman abandons her kids? Then shes a loser.

Added many people can look sympathetically at a successful career woman who never had kids and think "thats a shame" not because they are sexist assholes, but because it really is.

Well the thing is, women do consider a woman being a slut equivalent to her being a loser (or trash, lowlier than them, however you want to put it). They just don't want to admit that. Women slut shame other women more than men do. And there's a reason why woman always hesitate to reveal their real partner count, its because they are ashamed of sleeping around so much.

Anyway getting to your question, women are as a gender a lot better socially than men are. So the woman loser would be the woman who fails to have much to any of a friend network. This is bad for a guy, but its especially bad for a girl since she is naturally better at this type of thing than a guy is.

"loser" might be harsh but to me it's women who can't gain the social status they want. I've met some attractive girls that were actually quite awkward and something about them made me unattracted to them. Given how much the social world and social status seems to matter to women, a woman who can't navigate that world effectively would be seen as dorky to me, as hypocritical as that might seem. But I only feel that way because of how strongly women generally apply that filter to men.

Not that I personally spend much timr judging, just what the word means in that situation. Which is pretty straightforward. A loser. A person who chose certain life strategy / goals and failed. So a lady who wanted to have a great career and a family later on, but now is a sad underpaid clerk with a desperate tinder profile and love of wine. Or a stay at home wife who with three kids, got fat, got cheated on, and now the ex hubby escapes alimony and she's 40, lots of fat and kids and no life skills. Or a pickme who hopes to win a man over but everytime gets ghosted after sex. Or a mlm 'enterpreneur' who burns all family and inheritance money on bath salts that noone wants. When people see a person who failed at their own lifeplan, that gets called a loser, huh.

I think what makes men and women losers is fairly similar, but I think the culture and context are really important. In general, shared traits include living with their parents due to a situation that doesn’t have to do with hard luck, not taking care of their body, not prioritizing adult things like a career, never leaving their party phase, needing people to take care of them/ always support them, and blatant insecurity. I do think there’s more pressure in the Midwest/ the South for women to get married and have children by a certain point, and if you aren’t at least attached by thirty, people don’t necessarily think you’re a loser but there is a connotation of pity as well as an unspoken suspicion something is wrong with you if you’re relatively attractive/ life is put together/ etc. However, I think a lot of it accumulates into the woman treating herself like a loser because she didn’t find someone in the window that 90% of her peers did.

Well, you'd first need to determine the terms of the game. More and more we hear of women enjoying tremendous success in college. I'd say a loser would be a woman who performs intellectuality and fails to keep intellectual integrity... which, might I add, has become way easier on account of whatever shitty logos has been spreading from the US. When a woman rely entirely on her boyfriend, husband. She doesn't even want to be financially independent. This makes her situation instabile, and these kind of women become toxic towards their husband/boyfriend often.
When a woman only cares about how men look at her. When the only thing she cares about is to be in the focus of men.
When a woman is whinig all the time about her partner, but does not communicate with them. Doesn't say if something is wrong, and doesn't make effort to change things (talk, break up or anything basically), just talks about him in a very disgusting way (and you don't even understand why she's with him, if he's so bad)
When a woman mostly just spread gossips, talks about people behind their back. That's basically the only thing you can talk about with her.
When a woman calls other women a slut, just because they have casual sex.
When a woman using the victim card all the time, and using feminism as a tool to legitimize her screwed up life, her laziness. (these kind of women made the word "feminsim" basically a curse word)
Many unattractive women becomes really frustrated, and this makes them very very mean. They are basically the female equivalent to the incels. They are shitty with men, and even more shitty with women.
Women who expect men to pay for everything but get offended when the men in question also treat them in a more conservative way.
