There was recently a post by a 40 ish man who was introducing his sugar baby to his friends and wanted advice. He was able to afford a woman he would not otherwise obtain, the relationship (albeit transactional) was ideal in his view, he could afford to be her only daddy, the sex was the best he had ever known and he knew he could end it at any time with little consequence. He did not care about a long term relationship. I’ve seen this type of relationship becoming more and more popular. With this in mind, money wins.

I can only speak for myself.

Money is just a tool I use to get what I want.

Money is not important, the things I want to get using money are important.

When anyone that knows me sees the way I use my money only 10% of it is used to pay for the lifestyle I want for myself. 90% of what I earn is spent into making myself attractive, having a lifestyle that is attractive and keeping my LTR alive.

Considering I wouldn't be interested in a LTR that does not include sex I come to the conclusion that sex is more important than money.

I feel like a lot of these question have hidden restrictions especially on the sex aspect. Both money and sex are only good when they can be converted to pleasure. Money is useless if I can't use it to buy whatever I want. A billion dollars in cash only amounts to kindle for a fire if I'm stuck on a desert island where I can't spend it. Similarly sex is only good when I can fuck women I want to fuck.

If "lots of sex" means threesomes with 10/10's everyday, going raw, and no risk of STI, then it would be better than any sexless life no matter how much money you have. If "lots of sex, no money" means having the quality of sex of men that have no money, then you might as well go with the money.

When I was around 20 I was broke, but was in a relationship where we had lots of sex. Probably at least twice a day for part of it. At the time, though, I was constantly worried about where my next meal was coming from or how I'd buy gas to get to work. ~9 years later I have enough banked where I could afford to not work for years without skipping a beat. I find that to be a tremendous weight off my shoulders that is way better than sex. So, yeah, I'll take the money without much thought.

I feel like two different questions are being asked here. The second one at the end of the post is pretty extreme; I think most men would not be willing to live a paycheck to paycheck in exchange for lots sex.

The first question is much more interesting, simply asking which is more important. As a 5/10 man with plenty of money and plenty of dry spells, I can admit I am very jealous of my average income friends who banged lots of hot women. For this comparison to make sense it has to be ZERO money but lots of sex versus lots of money and no sex. In that case zero money is going to be a real problem in terms of survival unless you get real good at living off the land/dumpster diving or whatever.

On the other hand if we are talking about a little money and lots of good sex with hot girls, well that puts you way above most guys who also only have a little money but far less sex performed with average to below average girls. In which case I’d probably choose that one, because what’s the point of being rich if you’re celibate.

Considering most of the guys here have decided to go into STEM where their classmates are 90% other guys I would say watch what they do not what they say.

I have a young friend who is studying artificial intelligence but he's also a really social guy.
