Why are women in this sub who are skewed 30+ hang around?

Women like analyzing human relationships in general. Some women stick to gossiping with their friends or debating the relationships of their favorite celebrities or in their favorite TV show. This sub is an appealing way to discuss relationships for women who at least one of cerebral, autistic, or argumentative.

Sometimes, I see that post. That one post that is so unbalanced, so unhinged...that it causes just the right amount of repulsion and laughter. I'm like YEAH THIS WAS SO WORTH IT.

there’s a good handful of us who are young tho.

and why the assumption that women spend time here for male attention only? women actually like talking about gender and relationships, so it’s not surprising to me that women would be in a forum like this.

men typically only care to talk about these things when they’re having issues with them and do a lot of things solely for female attention, so it makes sense that you’d think women are doing the same. not to say there couldn’t be any who do, but that’s not representative of the collective.

Women below 30 have dating easy. After 30 when they get a modicum of resistance men have had the whole time Google in-depth dating advice for once and find Reddit like her male counterpart did at like 18.

Here is one of the many times I've answered this question.

As to why this sub specifically attracts women 30+, it's because young women are generally too busy going out and living life and are usually on other social media sites. But also a lot of us oldheads have been here since before we were 30. Since I started posting on this sub I've earned a master's degree, got engaged, got married and had a baby.

If it makes you feel better, if there were another lively space to unpack and debate gender dynamics at this level I would be there.

Over the years Ive accepted that the only men interested in these convos are men who struggle. Women are interested in these topics regardless. And so PPD is my community for better or for worse.

I am always interested in people and what makes them tick. I meet a wide variety of people from all across my region in a rare, niche hobby and one of those is a gen z/millenial cusp guy who identifies as a romantically gay, asexual. I’ve also been aware of falling testosterone levels, changing gender dynamics, rise of alternative definitions of one’s sexuality, and have a kind of an atypical sexual history and marriage myself.

Since I meet so many divergent people, I fall into many rabbit holes, but this one simultaneously hits many interests. I think we often offer a perspective on what has actually changed and what is quite different.

I’m not 30+ but I just like arguing and seeing how long it takes the men on here to openly admit they want women as slaves (I got one to admit it already). Cults like the manosphere and brainwashed people are fascinating to me.

I think most of us are just fascinated at these men are who are just so different from the men we’ve known in real life. Like discovering an alien planet and wanting to know everything about this odd species, even though this species hates us and wants us to make us suffer. Like Watching a train wreck you can’t take your eyes away from while simultaneously being horrified.

They were told they could have anything they wanted. They actually went through a phase where they could have all the attention they wanted, and the freedom they wanted, and they fun they wanted. So the story they were told was perfectly confirmed, until it wasn't.

I’m turning thirty later this year. I don’t comment a lot on this sub because honestly I find it so far from my experience of women and relationships and quite depressing because of it, but I hang around because I really do feel for modern guys and the issues that get raised here are important. I don’t think being 30+ means you’re out of touch with the SMP, just the SMP is different at that age that’s all (thank god!).

I met my man on tinder in early 2015. Bumble hadn't been invented yet, but I still messaged him first so I guess I was using the app like bumble?

People in their early 20s were using the app differently than people who were older even then. It's nothing new. These guys act like they invented dating. Chances are if a guy is not having luck dating and he's 19 or something, things will eventually turn around.

But that's assuming they don't take horrible red pill advice like "don't have female friends." The second most common way that couples meet each other nowadays is through mutual friends. Everything the red pill teaches them is designed to keep them single and watching red pill videos every night, and buying those guys' courses.

Most the women of this subreddit are in happy long term relationships or are in general happy despite the horrific suffering many had went through in their earlier years.

I think they're trying to share their hard earned wisdom and lessons, especially to the younger and more inexperienced males.
