Ugh I want to respond to some of those comments but I know they won't listen.

How is it manipulative to dump men that don't treat you the way you want to be treated? This sub does not advocate retaliatory ghosting, it advocates for "block and leave forever." How is it cheating to follow the Four Man Plan & tell men you date that they aren't the only one, and that commitment must be proven? I feel like they're cherry-picking the bit about "see a new guy sometimes helps distract from the one you’re with" as advocating cheating, when I took it 100% to mean "don't date one guy at a time because it's too easy to get emotionally attached and blind to other options." And, as far as I've seen, the "make them pay for dates" rule only applies to the beginning of getting to know someone, to see how invested they are in treating you with quality dates so you don't fall for low-effort "netflix & chill" fuckbois. A relationship absolutely should be egalitarian- when he's proven he'll reciprocate your efforts.

I think a lot of people in those comments are assuming this strategy is about manipulation when really it's just about standards.

Whats crazy to me is that THIS is what men fear so much. Not being abused, sexually assaulted, put in danger. Not being cheated on or getting an sti from their partners infidelity. I have been married to my husband for 6 years and we were together for 6 years before that.

I am subscribed to this subreddit out of curiosity of what dating culture is like these days for women. Also because I personally know SO many women in my life who don't know their worth and it kills me, so it is refreshing to see women who genuinely value themselves for once.

He knows I am subscribed to this subreddit. He doesn't care in the slightest. He can see where you all are coming from and even agrees with a lot of your principles. I dated some pseudo HVM who kept that facade for a few months before they showed their true LV (my former pickmeisha habit was being rebound girl who provides free therapy). I unironically wish I could meet men who are as principled as me. I also found this group from men talking badly about it on here. The funny thing is, these were the principles I was raised with- the principles taught to me by my father. He always wanted to protect me from bad relationship experiences by "arming me with knowledge" about how men think and act, and how to spot all of the bad ones early to avoid them. It worked; I haven't had any bad experiences.

After discovering what incels were it became a bit of a pet hobby of mine to research and read about these concepts in my spare time, which is how I found out what a sad state dating is in. I like reading FDS because I get the same cringe-inducing posts from elsewhere, but nicely curated and with hilarious comments from the lovely women here instead of terrible, self-sabotaging advice from women in other groups. It's also a good refresher on what I was taught growing up. 😁
